Yes bro, I have gone to the bank to block the two ATM cards. They can't use the phone. It's a redmi phone. I have remotely erased all my details on the phone and have locked it through my online Redmi Mi account.

I even ledt a message that will display whenever the phone is switched on. I wrote a message that says "This phone was stolen from the owner at a gun point on the 30-12-2020. If found, pls kindly contact me". I then put a number anyone can call.

That message will always appear whenever they switch the phone on and they can't use it.

It's locked for life.

My guy once hard reset its done on that phone, it's gone, and it will good as new, and remember you don't need to power the phone on to perform the hard reset.

Omo this is good new sha. Don't know what these lots were thinking placing that ban during a period were phones are prone to theft. one window thief just move my phone laidis and the past 2 weeks were not funny. No contact, no social media, No emails, business was just dormant.

guy, this isn't 2017, hard reset does nothing. Most android now come with FRP protection to tackle hard resetting. But it's less secure than Xiaomi lock
