Why Many Christians Face Difficulty In Life (2) (3) (4)

35 And one of them, a teacher of the Law, tried to trap him with a question.
36 "Teacher," he asked, "which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
37 Jesus answered, " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'
38 This is the greatest and the most important commandment.
39 The second most important commandment is like it: 'Love your neighbor as you love yourself.'

As someone rightly said, the main thing in life is to make the main thing the main thing. I will tell you relationship is the main thing, if you ask me.

To cause the Lord Jesus Christ to trip, one of the Pharisees asked Him the greatest of God's commandments to which He summarized as relationship; first with God, then with oneself and lastly with others.

No man is an island, we all need God and one another as we journey through the new year. To enjoy a good and fulfilling life therefore, the best place to start is with the right relationship.

How was your relationship with God and man in the past? Good or bad? It's possible the past has been a terrible one to many due to the right relationship they had or lacked, that notwithstanding, there is always room for a fresh start.

No one can love God without first accepting God's gift of love, which is Jesus Christ. It is when His love is perfected in us that we can effectively love Him in return, love oneself and others as expected.

The main thing is to begin the year with right relationships, the first being God. He comes first. He is to be at the center, the focal point with everything else in life receiving its meaning and direction from that vital center.

Happy new year to you all.

My relationship with God should have been better. I tried to live in peace with all men, but men will squeeze your guts out with their evil -they don’t want peace, they want war. Nevertheless, I look forward to a better relationship with God and more godly wisdom to handle men.

Happy new year to you too.

The acid test of a true and right relationship with God is the true and right relationship with others.

No many people know and so realise that to be loved by God is the highest relationship, the highest achievement, and the highest position in life. Praise God. Alleluia

Relationship, is exactly one of the important things, what the cross on which Yahshua Ha Mashiah aka Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour of the whole wide world died on, symbolises.

The cross, serves as a few meaningful symbols, one which is, it serves to indicate the vertical relationship with God, to start with and then next, the horizontal relationship with our neighbour, whoever our neighbour is, whatever his/her race, colour, sexuality, creed, height, size, taste et cetera is, lmso

Bodydiialect57:
How was your relationship with God and man in the past? Good or bad? It's possible the past has been a terrible one to many due to the right relationship they had or lacked, that notwithstanding, there is always room for a fresh start.
There is quite a lot of more room for improvement, in terms of both our vertical relationship with God and especially for some of us, legalistic brethren and sisters, our horizontal relationships with peculiar other people, lmso

Bodydiialect57:
No one can love God without first accepting God's gift of love, which is Jesus Christ. It is when His love is perfected in us that we can effectively love Him in return, love oneself and others as expected.
Also, no one can love God, accept God's gift of unconditional love and then not want to allow others to faithfully and devotionally love each other, without fear of discrimination and/or condemnation of the love they have for each other

Bodydiialect57:
The main thing is to begin the year with right relationships, the first being God. He comes first. He is to be at the center, the focal point with everything else in life receiving its meaning and direction from that vital center.

Aye, relationship with God comes first, as He truly is the Center, the focal point with everything else in life receiving its meaning and direction from that vital Center.

When all is done and dusted, relationship, when and after the dust settles, with faith, hope and love, outlives everything and remains (i.e. 1 Corinthians 13:13)

Notice that it's from "It is not good for the man to live alone. I will make a suitable companion to help him" that its observed that relationship is the mother of companionship. Marriage, is a training ground, so with, to perfect relationship skills in, lmso. It isnt easy being married, and so why, marriage isnt necessarily for everyone, lmso. As we can see from Isaiah 54:5 above, and just taking it as an example of one, there are different kinds of marriage, lmso. Civil marriage, is another example, lmso

You can’t have God without loving all those whom God loves, because God is love. When you invite Jesus Christ into your heart, be ready to welcome Him and His friends. Who are His friends?

The rich and poor, old and young, male and female, well and sick, Jew, Samaritan, Babalawos Roman, Gentile. He loved thieves, prostitutes, tax collectors, lepers. Sinners all.

And the righteous people spat out their condemnation, “This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them.” And they were right. He did. Mark 2:16.

If you truly love God, you will love those He loves.

That is the main thing!

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

19 We love him, because he first loved us.

20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen ?

21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

1John 4:16-21.

That is the main thing in life.

How can you claim to love the God you have not seen, and yet deny your neighbour mutually and unconditionally loving each other until death do part?

The true proof of our love for God is to allow unconditional love to be alive, thrive and/or flourish. Whoever that stands in the way of love does not know God, because God is love and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

To love, and be loved back in return, is to experience a blessed glimpse of heaven. Praise God. Alleluia!

But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.

Jesus said we should love others. What did He mean?

Well, clearly, to love someone goes beyond feeling good about them or approving of their behavior.
No, that’s not what loving is about.

To love as Jesus loved is to value a person as a child of God. The value of a person has nothing whatsoever to do with their behavior.

Every person is of infinite worth simply because every person is a child of God, one for whom Jesus has died, and they are to be loved for that reason, and for that reason alone. So, we are to value others and want what's best for them our feelings notwithstanding.

And, in every way within our power, we are to do what is best for them. It’s not about our feelings towards them.

To love is an act of the will, no matter how we feel at a given moment, we decide to love others because they are children of God and because God loves them. And because, as one Christian put it, “We may never be any closer to God than we are to those we love least.”

"25One day an expert in religious law stood up to test Jesus by asking him this question: “Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?”
26Jesus replied, “What does the law of Moses say? How do you read it?”
27The man answered, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
28“Right!” Jesus told him. “Do this and you will live!”
29The man wanted to justify his actions, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?
30Jesus replied with a story: “A Jewish man was traveling from Jerusalem down to Jericho, and he was attacked by bandits. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him up, and left him half dead beside the road.
31“By chance a priest came along. But when he saw the man lying there, he crossed to the other side of the road and passed him by. 32A Temple assistantd walked over and looked at him lying there, but he also passed by on the other side.
33Then a despised Samaritan came along, and when he saw the man, he felt compassion for him.
34Going over to him, the Samaritan soothed his wounds with olive oil and wine and bandaged them. Then he put the man on his own donkey and took him to an inn, where he took care of him.
35The next day he handed the innkeeper two silver coins, telling him, ‘Take care of this man. If his bill runs higher than this, I’ll pay you the next time I’m here.’
36“Now which of these three would you say was a neighbor to the man who was attacked by bandits?” Jesus asked.
37The man replied, “The one who showed him mercy.”
Then Jesus said, “Yes, now go and do the same.
”"

Your neighbour is a human being you dont discriminate against, or having prejudice against, especially when their sexuality or sexual orientation, is what the discrimination, narrow-mindedness and/or prejudice is based on, lmso..

Two easy going, innocent, harmless, ordinary consenting God believing adults, minding their own businesses enjoying a life long caring, faithful to each other, committed to each other, truthful to each other, honest, lasting that's a lifetime life-long and loyal same-sex monogamous relationship, that is not causing damage or harm to another person, not betraying of another person, or even, not cheating on another person, and not being harmful to an object or neighbour, who love each other, enjoy each other’s company, are mutually respectful to each other, mutually supportive to each other, and all that and more, sometimes without sex necessarily being the leading or most important thing for them, loving each other, he/she is that anyone, anybody and someone that God so love. Love has an outward proportion.

Many a business would thrived greatly if the boss truly loved his workers and they knew it.

Most marital unions would be happier if spouses heard and saw constant reminders that they were loved.

And most families would be happier if parents from time to time affirmed their love to their children.

When it comes to love, SAY IT!

When it comes to love, SHOW IT!

A happy home depends upon the relationship between the parents and the children, and between siblings.

A prosperous business depends upon the relationship between the employees and the customers.

A peaceful community depends upon the relationship between neighbors.

A stable nation depends upon the relationship between the government and it's citizens.

A man's eternal destiny depends upon a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Re: The Main Thing In Life by Bodydiialect57: 9:12pm On Feb 06, 2021
Love should not only be said, it must be demonstrated. It is proactive, practical, and personal. It must be seen and heard.

A simple touch can convey an awesome sense of love, affirmation, and acceptance. To maintain physical and emotional health, according to a study, men and women need eight to ten meaningful touches each day. Meaningful touch like a gentle tap or stroke on a friend's shoulder, an husband planting a kiss on the wife's lips or a welcoming hug to a dear one after the day's work. These touches should be given by a significant other.

Caution, however must be exercised in touching anyone of the opposite sex in a professional and some personal relationships.

Dr. Dolores Kreiger, a professor of nursing at a New York University, has made numerous studies on the effect of human touch. Red blood cells carry a substance called hemoglobin, which carries oxygen to the body's tissues.

She found that both the toucher and the touched receive great physiological benefit. Hemoglobin levels in the blood streams of both people increase when one lays hand on the other. As hemoglobin levels rise, body tissues receive more oxygen. This oxygen increase invigorates both parties and can even aid in healing process.

It's not a burden, give the touch!

Have you hugged your kids today?

Relationship, that's the main thing.
