Covid-19: Winner’s chapel, Daystar, other churches to have physical worship services

Many churches in Nigeria have abandoned physical worship services to online services since the outbreak of covid-19 in the country.

This is to stem the spread of the virus. However, Winner’s chapel, Daystar, House on the Rock Church and few other churches have announced their preparedness for today service.

Today's service will be both physical and online despite the fact that Nigeria Centre For Disease Control NCDC, reported 1,074 new infections of the Coronavirus in the country.

The country has so far tested 948,048 people since the first confirmed case of COVID-19 was announced on Feb. 27, 2020. The agency put the total number of COVID-19 infected people in the country at 88,587.

However, worshippers are advised to come with their family members to celebrate the first 2021 Sunday service.

House on the Rock Church announced, “Get a Fresh Start in this New Year, join us as we partake of the Holy Communion this Sunday at the Rock Cathedral, Lekki from 9am. Register on our website, and come with your facemask and QRCode. All Covid-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to.”

While, Winners Chapel said: “3rd of January 2021, the first Sunday for the year 2021 shall be a Prophetic Entrance into the Month of January. It shall also double as a Special Communion Service, which shall prepare us for the journey ahead into the 21 days of prayer and fasting. Come along with your family members, friends and other loved ones. Jesus is Lord”.

Similarly, “A NEW BEGINNING SERVICE! We are beyond excited about coming together to give thanks, tomorrow and all year long. Service holds at all our physical centres and online.”

The Cross-over Service which was earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday the 31st December 2020, shall now hold as a Evening Service.
Time is 6.pm. Please note that in view of this, the Wednesday Midweek Communion Service shall not hold.

New Year Service
The 2021 New Year Service shall hold on Friday, 1st January 2021, part of which shall be Live broadcast from Canaanland with God's servant, the Apostle over this Commission unveiling the Prophetic Mandate for the year. Please note that only one Service shall be held and the time is 7.am. Meanwhile, the Feet Washing Ministration earlier announced for the Crossover Night shall be administered during the 21 days of Prayer and Fasting in January 2021.

Well we understand that the rush churches experience in crossover night may be a little worrisome.
But what is the major difference between this and the cross over night the government banned.
Are they saying covid infects more at night?

They keep diagnosing malaria and terming it covid.
Releasing outrageous number from the real covid results gotten.
No wonder, people were seen singing, dancing and doing a lot of acrobatic display in various isolation centres last year.

All these moves just to cash out.
Everyone should go about their normal businesses.
Personally for me, I won't be able to survive another lockdown.

If really churches want to be tested and know those with the real zeal to serve the lord, money contributions, donations should be scrapped from churches and let's see how many churches will be out there. They will ask you to pray for money but collect money from you, I wonder why they dont pray for money for themselves to fall from heaven
