You were irresponsible, you had your siblings in the vehicle and you went fighting with danfo driver? Nothing cool about what you did

I was born in Lagos, I will not risk the life of my siblings fighting over a dent on my car, there are other ways to settle without engaging in physical battle. According to him, he got a punch on his left eye, what if it was more than that? What if the driver insured him or he passed out? What do you think will happen to the kids in the vehicle?

Lol grin

You indicated that you're going to the right, and he kept on driving rough? Then just let him pass ...it is that simple. It doesn't make him a better driver, or make you a weakling.

Some things are sure
1) Your time was wasted because of this

2) Obviously, you car wouldn't look the same, unless you spend some money.

Try and avoid troubles brother, because e no dey finish.

So sorry for your ordeal

Guys please away from the SAME back and forth gbas gbos, I need clarification on some issues with BOLT.

1. Does cancellation (without exhausting the wait time) or declining of trips affect your rating? I started this week with a rating of 4.98 from 4.83 (I think) and at present it is 4.60.

2. It appears Bolt still charged their 20% after the completion of the 25trips for the week. I completed the 25trips on Tuesday or Wednesday (I think) and for subsequent days when I checked the NET as against the money made, I realized 20% was deducted as against 10% which was supposed to be deducted.

Your inputs would be appreciated.

I have taken my time to study bolt rating and I can tell you with 100% certainty the only thing that affects your rating is what riders actually rate you. Infact, once my rating drops, I can tell the exact rating the rider responsible for the drop gave me.

E.g My rating was on 4.88 and I carried a lady who dropped a small travelling bag beside the door and asked why I didn't put the bag in the trunk. I asked her why she didn't put them herself before she went back to the hotel.

Three or four trips later, my rating dropped to 4.80 and I knew the idiot had given me a 2 star.

I'm still of the opinion that cancellation and declining of trips affects your ratings. The period my rating gained from 4.83 to 4.98, I religiously accepted ALL trips and waited for 5mins for those who refused to cancel. But the next week, I felt I was wasting too much time. I cancelled, I declined. Ratings dropped like wildfire to 4.80. It then built again to 4.83.

Yesterday, I cancelled and declined. Then one woman probably rated me low yesterday. I got the request from Christ Embassy Lekki. The guy said I was to take some boxes of books to their branch at Ajah. I thought it was just like 2 or 3 boxes. Got there and it was 12 or thereabout. I told the guy I couldn't go but then again I changed my mind because it was ×1.9surge. I got down and helped the guy in loading and realized too late that the boxes were quite heavy. I don accept, I don accept. In my mind, lemme just blow to Ajah and drop them.

I got to the church at Ajah and drove in. Called the lady I was to drop it off for but she wasn't around so she called someone else to meet me. I opened the boot and was waiting for them to call the security guys or anyone to offload the car. The security guys said I would be the one to offload the boxes and take it to the store. What?!? E be like say una dey mad for here sha! I called the woman and she said I should give the phone to the security. They were talking on and from my analysis, they wouldn't touch those boxes. Chai, I don enter one chance. I quickly offloaded the boxes close my car and called her back for my money. She was like, why am I angry, that drivers usually help her offload. I was like WTF!!! When the security guys are there? I would load and offload

It is well sha... We move...

1. Let's carry out an experiment. grin grin grin Try declining or cancel 5 - 7 trips without waiting for the 5mins. Let's see if it would affect the rating. wink wink wink

2. If you worked yesterday, check if the bonus would show.

Morning FAM, help need for this scammer!

Bolt encourages this transfer, hence drivers will always be at the receiving end.

This guy made a transfer, got down from the vehicle without showing proof of transaction not until I called him to show transaction details which he did.

I guess there should be a reversal or he was out for fraud because he has blocked me.

Fare is N3,100, his number 08051453864
.

Thanks.

Declining of trips and cancelation affects your rating.... Particularly card trips.

I cancel and decline trips regularly, my ratings too flunctuates likewise...

Bolt's system of rating is not transparent one bit. I would give Uber credit for that. Even indrive has a more credible approach.

For Bolt, if you don't take the trip, you are not making money for them, so they will axe you for that.

This is wat i was pointing out, during mber period, if u give ur car cheap, the temptation to over use the car must be there, and driver's must use it to maximize the profit, and by the time 300k repairs comes in they will dump it and look for another car.

This was wat i said, that resulted to all the agberos in the house start throwing bottles at me.

Well, you make a lot of sense most of the time. It's just that you don't know how to take negative words thrown at you, thereby turning into Agbero2
If we take your opinions and points, and subtract the attacks and insults, you are one of the best persons here for advice.
If anyone knows you for real on this thread, it would be a tiny and negligible number of people, so why would you think anybody hate you? If anyone hates you, it's because of how you present yourself.
I don't like how people insult you (because it derails the thread too much), however, please amend what you type. Start typing without adding your feelings, and we'd all be happy.
Thank you and happy new year ✌️

What's the size of your engine and how much fuel do you consume on a daily? My crv is also 4plug, 2.4ltr engine and this was what I made yesterday minus 5k offline. 6.5k was spent on fuel. Do you think it is outrageous and how can I correct the fuel consumption?

Maryland Mall to the address on the screenshot.
I would have gone to the destination if it were to be residential but its commercial.

I didn't confirm name on bolt profile since I never expected the fraud and there is now way to check name after ending a trip on bolt.

JUST 30SECONDS

Just let those Danfo, Korepe and Keke carry their wahala go... Most times self, it doesn't take more than 5 seconds of patience.

We also have to understand the way those guys reason. They want to meet their daily target, thereby trying to overtake any how in order to get to the next bus stop to pick up any available passengers before the danfo behind or ahead of them.

They also want to make up the money wey agbero dey collect from them at almost every bust stop.

Not justifying their actions, but the frustration and the stress dey too much for their head.
Best way na try to avoid hem.

I have learnt a lot from peoples experience from this forum. I never let you go until the alert is confirmed.
A guy requested a ride for a lady, destination was royal oaks lekki. I didn't let her go until I got an alert from the guy. If you claim you're in a hurry then do alert before we reach destination. That's why I use indriver. Hope you get your money back.
