hmmmmm some riders shaaaa, I picked this lady from lekki phase 1 to oral estate on the 31st ,after we got to oral estate she said she forgot to use the atm that I should drive her to any atm around of which i had already end the trip(1500) i don't know whr to see any bank on that express so i said let me buy fuel with her card she accepted unfortunately thr pos was not working, so she promised to send the money later on as we couldn't find any bank around, this lady from my observation was willing to pay but probably because we hv departed she felt no need to pay anymore cos she fly in from akwa ibom and was flying back the next day according to her gist if i send her message on watsap her reply is always i will send it dear..I hv checked her profile on Facebook she's a beauty queen and doing some humanitarian works. Noting works perfectly in this country that's y i prefer all this ehailing business should be strictly cards

You're dealing with a seasoned olosho, your tendencies of getting your money are quite slim unless you act firm/stern with this girl.

Beauty queen business is coded olosho business, just like actressing. They support their queening with humanitarian/charity works because it gives the pretext to request audience with loaded men in society, to hang out with them and market the actual goods i.e. puna that is for sale.

if your prices are Ok in comparison to what my IGbo brothers are selling at Ladipo I wouldnt mind, I was there lastweek, everything is X2 of the price. I went with 100k hoping to buy many things to fix my car. The money only bought me 4 things Pere: Rear light,@35k, 4 Grade A Tokunbo tyres,@ 40k 10k each with expiry date intact. Front Grill @15K and Car accessories 10k. Everything 100k. Inflation in this country is in another level. Like I said if your prices are good. I might end up fixing my shocks at your work shop. 2mao am going for painting at Maryland
I can never be Ladipo price I know that much but if it was my parts you bought last time you wouldn't be having to pay this time (2yr warranty) grin

what parts is it you still have to buy?

I spoke to him and he mentioned he asked you to givd him till tomorrow COB to confirm if a reversal will occur.

He promised to reinitiate it and ensure you get your money tomorrow at the latest if you are still yet to receive it.

His respond to note picking your calls was that you sent him messages that were very offensive early this morning.

I think you should give him the benefit of the doubt and see how it goes

firstly, I appreciate your efforts.

I called him in the evening to let him know that no payment yet from him which he promised to resend.
Called him this morning around 8:30am to let him know that no payment yet from him but found out that my number has been blocked after several trials. He has no excuse for blocking me if there was no scam intent.

1. Let's carry out an experiment. grin grin grin Try declining or cancel 5 - 7 trips without waiting for the 5mins. Let's see if it would affect the rating. wink wink wink

2. If you worked yesterday, check if the bonus would show.

1) Bros lets not dwell too much on this cancellation has nothing to do with your rating but only your activity score. Experiment it by sitting at home one full day and cancel all request you receive then see how yiur activity score reduces by 1% per cancel.

This is my call records with him. I tried the number 8am but was busy, so I felt he was on a call. It became clear to me I have been blocked when I tried with another number.
He deserved the message I sent to him the moment he blocked me.

2005 Ford mondeo manual transmission costs a paltry 25k- It never dies actually.
Automatic transmission costs less than 60k.

Do you use Ford mondeo please?

Press down the Odometer bottun. Hold it down and put on the ignition (don't start the car, just ignition). You'll hear the buzzer, the light will blink for about 5 seconds, hold till the Maint Rqqd light disappears.

Just let those Danfo, Korepe and Keke carry their wahala go... Most times self, it doesn't take more than 5 seconds of patience.

We also have to understand the way those guys reason. They want to meet their daily target, thereby trying to overtake any how in order to get to the next bus stop to pick up any available passengers before the danfo behind or ahead of them.

They also want to make up the money wey agbero dey collect from them at almost every bust stop.

Not justifying their actions, but the frustration and the stress dey too much for their head.
Best way na try to avoid hem.

Absolutely true.

Me i see them as mad people so no need having confrontations with them whatsoever.

The first week or thereabout I picked up my formal car I was on my way home one night, coming down from tje interchange at iyana ipaja to join the expr towards pleasure this danfo was parked just at outlet to the road loading passenger without even minding weather I was behind horning. I could hear how my horn was fading away... I didn't want to risk coming down since it was almost 10pm.

Ok, let me see if I could manage the little space to go out for where? Can't pass through. Just as I was struggling and couldn't I kukuma say make I go back then wait till he leaves. Just before I could do that the fool decide to clear and you know how manual cars operate especially on a slop.

The reverse effect cause me what I've on picture below.

Funny thing, I was wearing a white T-Shirt couple with the color of my car... Come see begging...grin Officer pls!!!.. See where Old man dey beg small pikin... I made sure all of his passengers left that night before I free the old fool.

Those guys frustrate the hell outta somebody.

Good for telling to go with enough money to buy fuel for proper long distance test driving.

Ha! My brother that's the best way to know if a car is a lemon or not oooh.

Let me share an experience.

Late 2019 when I was waiting for my former partner to get his car ready (wow! How times fly)... I didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket.... So I got somebody here who wanted to invest within 1.2-1.3m on a HP... To cut it short... We saw a biggy just about 3/4 months old registered. Buyer/prospective partner said I should test drive and if I'm okay he'll proceed with payment instantly.

Seller only permitted me to test drive within his neighbourhood of less than 1-2km.

At least I've used cars for many years, how on earth do you expect me to rush and pay for a car without doing a proper check. I quickly sent a text to my oga to thwart the deal and that was the end of it.

When I was selling my car to a dealer you needed to see the process the dealer took before even agreeing to buy the car, like I was begging him to buy... That day I learnt how to know if an engine is smoking or shorting oil.

I's haf sin tins. cool

Even toks no get guarantee, I have bought a toks that engine knocked within Mile2 coming from Apapa.

If body and interior is good, then that price is good. Worst come to worst keep 200k for any unforseen repair/replacement and with 1million u have a quality, reliable car for e-hailing. I can bet that car is no longer available. Except it doesn't start grin

The car im using currently the engine was changed after two weeks of purchased. Car was bought tok. Owner to car to IB car drank 10ltrs of Mobil oil b4 they could return to Lagos next day..

When it comes to automobile nothing is guaranteed.
