She is a woman It would be challenging for a lady to adapt in a foreign country when she migrates Asper dating ,marriage etc Unlike a guy who finds it easier to adapt to his new surrounding And don't forget she might married so it would be even more challenging. |

gaius01: You all got it all wrong. Northerners are homogeneous and family oriented in nature. We look forward to being with family both immediate and extended. We look forward to Sallah festivities, family events , the food , being with our community etc. And most of all, we believe in what God has destined for us. What will be, will be. Yes, Nigeria is a shithole country but the thought of moving abroad rarely would cross our mind. We rather manage, slug it out and make the best of things. But there are exceptions, but at the end of the day , they would still end up in Nigeria. |

chiefolododo:Why not . Not all Nigerians are poor the way you reason it. I know very close friends they live here make vacations in Europe and US and return back for years now. |

Nigerians should learn to respect decision made individually or privately. Migration is not for all. No matter the situation, some people are still making the best out of our worst situation. Happiness, comfort and prosperity is all we seek as people in Nigeria or outside country. 1 Like |

Hotbutt:but she might be traveling to that same canada or US for holidays nau Look at her..she looks like a northerner and must be from a very wealthy hausa/fulani family.probably she doesn't need the money and exposure per say cos it could be obvious she travels overseas during vacations. |

Wake up guys this guys are suffering what we are suffering no one is enjoying weda quota or no quota system. Most of the Northerners I have met abroad are in things higher than my own pursuit don't just lie fallow thinking every northerner is a common Aboki, u will be wrong and surprised. 1 Like |

DICKstractor: That lady is a liar. She’s just seeking attention to make herself sound patriotic. What opportunity to work in Canada was she on about? Has she taken the Canadian medical board certification exam? No she hasn’t. If she has passed it, do you think she’d be on social media bragging about working in Nigeria? 5 Likes |

DICKstractor: Canada is not looking for poor folks. You must be comfortable before relocating to Canada. Its not US visa lottery.Their requirements ensures that. I hope you know how much you are required to have before migrating. Again nothing for you if you no go school 1 Like |

Brika: Few Arewa people migrate to settle outside Nigeria. The civil war was won for Arewa. Before long, Fatima can become Health Minister or even president of Nigeria due to the skewed political structure of Nigeria created by Arewa soldiers. So who is surprised that Fatima would neglect Canada for Nigeria?

sweetmelanin:Thanks dear, having lived in the North, when you see a female medical doctor, my dear no be from near poor family o, them rich die. These people never visited the kitchen, they would have married since 15years, with a maid, in an extremely beautiful house, with everything they would ever need, they will have cars and drivers to take them to university and back, all medical students are collecting salary, their tuition fee is free, after graduating, they don't suffer to look for any job, they have it already. I know many of them in medical school, specifically Usman danfodio, now tell me why they need to go to Canada? They already had everything since teenage years, house, cars, marriage, and many things we aspire for as a youth. Ask their father the source of the income and you will see that many of them are just the brother to a governor, councillor, and are in various political offices. The money that should have circulated the entire country is in the pocket of some people. These people do not struggle like the rest of us, the poor people in the North don't send their female children to schools, not to tall of studying medicine. 9 Likes |

slyfoxxjoe: Like your reasoning. She had to apply for the opportunity... which means she had planned going abroad....then turned it down. I believe xProfx is on point ... she turned it down when she learned of the rigorous tests and regulations one has to go through to be able to practice as a doctor. On opportunity to become a doctor abroad .... I believe it is on merit and has nothing to do whether the family is rich or poor. Money decides if you can take the opportunity or not.... money to migrate and cover expenses during the course. |

Litmus:That's your own personal case,.... and the lady is still very wrong. The immediate commenter on her post hit the nail on the right head. That's how people like her do ... when it becomes to being too convenient. Meanwhile, for people who really know where they're going.... it's so glaring that Nigeria is not encouraging. |

Brika: Fatima would like to work and die to save Nigeria where her fellow Islamists of Arewa are laboring via Boko Haram to institutionalize Islamic Sharia criminal justice system in all of Nigeria.

KosiGee:She's just looking for attention, and I'm sure she never had any chance to go to any abroad, most girls in the North that did medicine can never hope to travel abroad because there's no reason to. 1. They get paid in medical schools, 2. Tuition is free, 3. They are married since age 15 4. They have a house, personal car and drivers since age 15 5. They have a maid already, they have a house etc Why will they need to go abroad, tell me |

emorse: The social term for what you are suffering from is called: INFERIORITY COMPLEX. It is simply what all of you folks from that society suffers from. You see a fair lady, and boom....the next thing you think is how to wife her. Believing that making her one of your already many wives will increase your societal acceptance. And then, you get disappointed. 1 Like |

Yinmu. Which offer to work. Before you work as a doctor in Canada you will have to write and pass their medical licensing exam. Just stay in nepotism filled aboki land and remain the community champion. Canadians will make you pass through fire before they allow you to practice there regardless of if your dad is related to Dangote or not. 1 Like |

Litmus:You are lying bros, or you don't know the meaning of poverty. If your relatives cannot feed and no shelter in Nigeria, I bet my life, them no go step Nigeria again. Its like you people don't even know the rate at which Nigerians are poor, some people are working day in day out,but still can't feed their family. One man I know is a dry cleaner with 2children, he works tirelessly, they still don't have near proper home, they are suffering. So that one would go to America and put the same effort, see more money come back Nigeria? Not possible |

12inchess: Loool. Fatima must have thought that once she enters Canada, she begins to practice Medicine. Colonial masters of Nigeria have even banned employment for Nigerian trained doctors. |

mark my word today , The day this country is split in different parts and the pepper from the oil that is making you a proud Nigerian will vanish , you will regret why you did not leave this country. or maybe you are a quota system product and may be exposed when you go abroad. because there you have to show all working as in maths |

lapazi:I'm 100% sure she's from a rich family. Having lived in the North, poor people don't send their female children to school, only rich class can afford good private schools for their children in primary/secondary schools to pass waec and jamb. In public schools, they can't even speak English after graduation, are they the one that will study medicine? That girl had car since teenagehood |
