generationz: There are a lot of people I know earning dollars in Nigeria who also want to leave. The question is what is your source of dollars? What happens when that source runs dry? Do you have alternatives? Imagine getting accustomed to a particular lifestyle and then your business collapses in Nigeria. Hausa women have alternatives, a lot of them I know have family members working in NNPC. They usually pull each other up. |

From her face she looks like a Northerner. Only few women from that part of the country actually attend higher institution and being a female Medical Doctor from the north haha!!! She must be from a wealthy northern family. Maybe Fulani because of her straight nose . So no need , na them get Naija government now. If na southerner heeeeew!!! She don waka tey tey because nothing for her for Naija. 1 Like |

ModestGal: I have seen countless northerners that are successful doctors from humble backgrounds. I once asked a friend, find me a girl in your medical set so when we get married we can both leave the country since medical personnel's are high in demand. He simply looked at me in despair and said- who will take care of all these people when we all leave. Its about personal conviction and selflessness. Look die this your mentality, i have another friend that spent abt 10years in canada, he has one of the biggest farms in benue today and he's fully bac now with his family still abroad. Im not saying its wrong or a disservice to Nigeria when you leave, my point is, this an opinionated topic and she has her reasons for staying behind. And stop that your garbage stereotype, i had 4As in my Olevel, i was thought Maths, physics and Chemistry in pure Hausa (dont ask me what i got in English lol). Inshort in my school youll be shocked to find pple that can speak pidgin, its either youre on clean english, arabic or ur local dialect. Im suprised pple are actually angry at this, this is the type of "me and myown" type of mentality we have today thats why this country will never go forward. NB- if i have the opportunity to move, i will grab it...lol, for my personal reasons obviously. 1 Like |

xProfx:Because someone is wealthy he should stay in a failed society. Anyway from what I have observed most people from wealthy backgrounds wobt move because the way they are worshipped and get to exploit poor people there, they wont try such in sane climates. Only in Niggeria will you hire a man as your houseboy, security guard, body guard, errand boy, masseuse , driver, hypeman and laundryman then pay him peanuts at rhe end of the month... sometimes you dont have to pay him. Just tell him you dont have money for him |

Jaqenhghar: Where in my post did I assert the bolded? Whether Nigeria is a "failed society" or not, it's illogical for anyone to think everyone has to leave the country, totally illogical. I am a travel consultant and even at that, I know Canada isn't for everyone but those who can meet the requirements, which are a lot. Not all Nigerians are graduates, not all Nigerians have the finances to process the PR, no everyone wants to move as some are doing quite well here... |

Molahnelson: Your views, drives& passion aren't d issue. U made a claim that thru d practice of agriculture, it is "easy to become a millionaire in US dollars in Nigeria than in Canada". All I asked u to do was to substantiate ur claim and u couldn't. U don't have a farm and u aren't presently engaged in agriculture. U haven't become a dollar millionaire thru agriculture u are only dreaming of becoming one& u are making claims that u can't defend& can't be proved. Ur dreams aren't a fact until u bring to manifestation. Dreams & passion aren't a statement of fact. If u no any nigerian farmer that became a dollar millionaire in Nigeria & he told u it was easier doing so than being a millionaire in Canada, pls let me no. 3 Likes |

If you're from a rich family and are on a path to even higher things here, there's no need to leave Nigeria. They will still sometimes get citizenship somewhere else IN CASE. She is a doctor. If a time comes and she wants to move, before 6 months, she would have disappeared. Check well and ask her where she got her degree. I am 100% sure she got it from an accredited school (whether in Nigeria or outside) that is recognized by countries like Canada. Doctors in Nigeria with 4-5 years experience and easily move to another country and become doctors there in less than a year. Why leave Nigeria where you work maybe 40 hours a week with quality breaks to go somewhere where you'll work 12 hours nonstop as a doctor. Where you'll have to look for a house that costs 5 times your annual salary, etc. |

DonFreshmoney: Most Northerners don't migrate to Western countries. They tend to migrate more to Arab countries. But I agree with you, for this lady, she must be from a wealthy home. Before you know, they will dash her 'one CMD' or Commissioner somewhere. |
