DjGimzy:

I have been reading about this New procedure to process study permit for Nigerians NSE, can someone that is not in Nigeria that is sponsoring my education provide there banks statement that is not a Nigerian bank for this NSE and will the applicants statement of account be required for the process?

Hello DjGimzy,

Yes, it is very possible. The person should go to the bank in the CoR and make inquiry on how feasible to get the MBS. If its infeasible, the person should give you thw foreign BS or send directly to the embassy. At your end, write an LOE to the effect.

At this time, the NSE stream has been gracefully processed if other requirements are met. This has been evidently witnessed in some applications here.

N.B: The financial requirement states that the POF (MBS) should either be in the sponsor's or applicant's name.

Unfortunately I don’t know if any PGD course related to anatomy. I did a quick search and couldn’t find any.

The CPR, AED, first aid certifications are not difficult to get. Most of them are short courses (1-2 days) but they’re expensive. She can enquire from the school what type they’ll accept. If she decides to do it in Nigeria I can recommend something.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply

Please can you recommend any course that won’t involve these exams . My sister finished with 2:2 in anatomy and we can’t seem to find a suitable course for her yet

Thanks

I am about to apply for Masters in Employee Relations at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Please can anyone confirm if the school accepts student copy transcripts? And the deadline Fall 2021 for the course I want to apply for is February 15th. Is it late?

Yes you don't. But my aim is to get the PR before I finish my studies hence I'd still be applying with my Nigerian cert. My score with French points looks good.

Hi

For the application, since covid started some schools will use the student copy transcript and expect the one from your institution after admission.

The fastest way is to call or send a mail to international admission or your program contact person.

It's not too late if you apply now. (I assume you wouldn't be needing supervisor commitment)

Nice one.... Quick question: also directed to @chocs, lekiboboe, ralhpudoh, Frank, justmellow, all other protocols duly mentioned.

1. Can an organization (such as companies, local schools, etc) send a gift deed, is it acceptable?

2. Is it compulsory to provide the SOA of a donor (person giving the gift deed)

3. Is it ok if an applicant who's a self sponsor receives gift deed?

Hello JosephYemsol,

To the best of my knowledge, I will advice you against such Gift except you have a well justifiable and strong proof of relationship over the years with any of the mentioned institutions.

A Gift of Deed holds solid weight if it comes from your parents, guardian or siblings. With proven relationship to these mentioned category of people, you don't necessarily need to include their BS but you may decide to include just the telex/receipt of transaction. However, there is no harm either to include their BS if it will help you breath better. The cover page & transactional page is also sufficient to prove the origin of the funds.

The Deed of Gift is most suitable for self-sponsored applicants. There is someone here who used the Deed of Gift and was successful.

Before considering getting a Gift Deed, ensure your level of economic establish and source of income/employment is solid. This is to avoid "Personal Asset & Financial Status" and Insufficient Funds. Ensure to analyze every aspect of your personal circumstances too.

Good afternoon guys. I arrived Canada a few hours ago and still waiting for my connecting flight to Newfoundland.

The flight was lllloooonnngggg. Ethiopian airlines is so cheap and underrated. Please try it if you have time for the stopovers.

I know you can't generalize but the border officials and immigration personnels were super nice. The guy even came to the queue, took our documents (LOA, Tuition receipt, passport and the Declaration card we filled on the plane )and issued our permits without stress. When I went to check in my luggage, the attendants were so humble and attentive.

My guys don limme go Vancouver sha. Arriving St John's after midnight.

Still so speechless I don't know what else to say

Please I need your help for info. I want to apply for Master of Employee relations for fall 2021.

Physically visit their office if they are open. Browse for personal numbers of people who work in British Council and call the person up.

foje:
Able house, pls I need your support and advise on this. I registered for ielts after submitting my documents because when I joined this thread my eyes became opened to alot of things especially when I saw people getting a request to do NSE. So NSE came for me and luckily IELTS was done about a week b4 d request. Now the challenge is I know my score cos its can be seen online but I don't have the hardcopy. I did the regular test not the online test and I have been calling British Council since last Yr ending when results were released bur to no avail. So since 4th(monday), I have been engaging them on discussions on how to get this document so I can upload for the NSE, they keep telling me it has not been dispatched and my deadline is very close. Pls what do u advise I do?

Oh I see. My score with the ielts result I wrote for the NSE stream is 471, way above the current cut off but I don’t have the WES evaluation and I have already gone far in my study route. I plan to apply for PR immediately after graduation using same ielts result and my Canadian masters cert

Hello Tall2ce,

Before the pandemic, MUN requires the transcript to be sent directly from the school. I am not sure about now but it may be wise for you to contact their admissions or international office directly on the subject matter.

Since you're processing under the NSE stream, wasn't the MBS you used?
