englois: if your sponsor has lumpsum in his account, do you have to explain it and show proof (receipt) of transaction. |

Good morning guys, thanks for responding to my first question. Please I want know if I must have money in my personal account apart from my sponsor. If yes, what is the minimum amount I should have in my account. I've been hearing different info saying I must not present my statement of account because I'm going as a student, undergraduate for that matter, that I only need to present my sponsor's account. While some say I will be asked for my statement of account because I'm mature. I also want to know how the account thing works, do they want to see an inflow of money in my account or the just want to see my last account balance? Thank you. |

JustMellow: Am 28yrs old. My account is some how empty because of the just concluded Christmas and new year celebration. I earn 100k a month, is this ok, because i intend going for the may admissions and i will end up having less than 500k in my account for the period but My sister is the sponsor of my education. |

DjGimzy: Hello DjGimzy, If your sponsor is financially sufficient, capable and reliable; and can genuinely demonstrate financial commitment to sponsor your study, then may be covered and not necessarily have to include your BS if the inflow and closing balance is poor. However, you MAY likely be less scrutinized financially if you can demonstrate you have a solid source of income & economic level of establishment in your country. Though there are quite few who have been successful. If you go back some pages, I think I saw a testimony of someone who is a matured applicant and recently got approval without including a personal BS. You can quote the person for hints. Personally, I will always advice matured applicants with work experience to include personal POF. Though individual circumstances varies. Best of Luck |

Winner0718: Hello Winner0718, In this case, you are all cleared. Ensure you provide evidence of maybe the transactional page & cover page and/or telex/receipt of the transfer from your sponsor to you. Clearly highlight the section applicable to you. Thereafter, use the LOE to do the finishing providing relevant details of the transfer and its purpose. Same applies to your sponsor's letter. Outside this, ensure other aspects of your application is well organized to meet the required eligibility. Funds alone doesn't cut it in this visa waka. Best of Luck 1 Like |

silvamania: What again? I was hoping to hear the good news about your application but it will soon come. Get the bank to sent the bank statement with a reference letter. It will surely end in praise |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Time2soar1: 11:37am On Jan 06, 2021 |
silvamania: For the MBS all you need is the ticket ID and password. They will log in and view the account statement. I guess there is a problem with the login detail. May be they can't login but they should have contacted you all this while. It will end in praise |

Hello JustMellow, Thank you for your very detailed explanation and analysis. I have a question please; for a school with $25k annual Tuition and $11k annual LE; will a BS with closing balance of $66k be good enough POF for a self-sponsored student going for a 2-year MSc program? Say: Tuition: $25k LE: $11k Excess: $30k Total: $66k. All are in CAD. Thanks in anticipation of your response and the response of any other member. JustMellow: |

JustMellow: Thank you so much sir for the detailed explanation. The gift is coming from my mum, using her school's account details (she's the owner of the primary school) I'm also employed and I intend to provide my salary account BS, pay slip for 1 year, pension account details and also an affidavit of support from my dad ( house property worth 15m). All of these documents will be provided in addition to a 1 year tuition fee receipt and a GIC certificate of 10kcad which I will purchase using the money from the gift deed. I hope this is fine sir? @justmellow |

Please oh.. Who can help me urgently with explaining how the 2 way courier thing works. I'm at DHL Admiralty way right now and the guy is acting brand-new like I'm the first person submitting passport here. He says he doesn't know how exactly the 2 way courier works..so abeg, if anyone can just provide their contact so I can have understand how it really works. I've never used DHL before, so I don't get how a 2way courier works. And I'm skeptical that he might do the wrong thing. Short story: if you've done 2way courier from Lagos to Abuja.. Please help me with your contact. P.s: I have done and gotten what the Abj Vfs thread says..The dhl office guy just needs to know what to do with the documents. 1 Like |
