kc4ujesus11: This is counter intuitive argument, in Ireland it doesn't matter if you are from any tribe, you're simply black and most likely Nigerian. Defending what the Gardi did will affect everyone in the end. Follow what the Irish are saying to understand the tone of the situation and where it's going. Can't be bringing Nigerian tribal mentality into a foreign country where your tribe is irrelevant |

gopel8052: I am saying and will keep saying, I won't argue about the "blacks don't love themself", I have my reason. Sir, go up and read me, I don't support a Garda shotting, I guess you don't get my message. It is wrong to shot an offender, worst you can do is shot at the leg. |

Brightfab: Follow this Irish guy on twitter, you'll see the true picture. Pay attention to his Nigerian references and Irish audience. Off course there are Irish people against this mentality but I'll be honest very few. On that note we end the discussion, draw your own conclusions https://twitter.com/DonCarlo66?s=09 1 Like 2 Shares |

Who cares about twitter? Its same in all countries complain about foreigners in their country. Italians hate Romanians like Satan and Germans don't like any one who is not German. Berlin people hate those from Bayern. Ask anyone living in Germany because i witness that many times and am not even German. We are both Nigerians, how do you like Igbo if you are Yoruba and how do like Yoruba people if you are Igbo. I have been too many countries in my life over 20 countries and Ireland is still the best. In Dublin there is place Moore street, come and see what our Nigerians were doing there before until the government started be tough on them. They will go to shops and steal a lot of things. If anyone is caught for stealing in Moore street or for drugs, chances they are Nigeria is really like 80% Irish are like Nigerians because they are friendly and nice people, the Irish can go a long way to help you esp if you have family. Nkencho before was shot, did this to a staff member in the EuroSpar received facial injuries. That man is receiving treatment in hospital for his injuries. Moments later, Mr Nkencho was involved in a public order incident in the local post office. Killing him is bad, I know but after what happened to a Garda officer last year, Garda don't want to take more chances that will cause the death one of their co-workers. Italia, French and Swiss will not think about it 2 times before opening fire, saw that in Italy and nobody talk because the guy was White Italian citizen. We blacks are always crying victims. gopel8052: 2 Likes |

Re: Adventure In Ireland by Nobody: 2:11pm On Jan 06, 2021 |
seunny4lif: True, to summarize all those countries also hate blacks, Germany, Finland etc. , that's the common denominator, blacks hating blacks isn't new, meaning blacks always at the losing end. As for blacks committing crime's i don't know about this, not happening where I'm based, what I know is I'm not a criminal and will not like to be judged by the mistakes of a few, would you? There's an anti Nigerian sentiment growing, apart from twitter, I've been told by a few well meaning Irish people that they're certainly not pleased with the presence of blacks here due to all you've actually mentioned. Criminals.. welfare cheats and growing youth gang violence especially in Dublin, infact they never wanted immigrants but have been tolerating it due to the government's protection for human rights. Bottom line , whether you think Irish people are racist or not , we would all suffer the consequences. Make sure you check the tone of the people even beyond twitter, it's not looking good. |

Irish hated is a little compare to UK, Germany, Italy and the worst of all country USA Irish church gave me over 1k euros when thing were hard for me but can a Black community church do that? Depending on your area, Ballymun and Swords are not same Everybody knows because its like AJ and Maryland. Any area were many social houses are located are always hating on black people and anybody that is not Irish. Same thing happens is UK Try getting a good job in Germany and see there faces at work, its crazy. gopel8052: |

seunny4lif: It's relative , when I lived in London, i didn't even know anything about racism, but in Ireland i felt it, mind you I know what you mean by Irish kindness, wait till you experience Irish brutality. Go and live in some counties in Ireland, you'll know say khaki no be leather. |
Re: Adventure In Ireland by seunny4lif(m): 2:35pm On Jan 06, 2021 |
Depending on the area, you are lived in London good. I know few people that were living in Cardiff, they had to run away from there to Manchester, London and Dundalk because of pure racism , they were experiencing in school and working place The lower the population, the more hatred. Igbo guy living in Ekiti will have diff experience to the one living in Lagos My experience in Berlin was better than what i saw Munich. Its normal gopel8052: 6 Likes |

You suppose to know what I mean by using Nigeria way of judging thing. Call Igbo man or Yoruba man a monkey is nothing because we are both Black. Go to USA and see the way black Americans hate we black from Africa. Worst thing I have ever see in my Life Tribalism is not diff from Racism because both have lead to war where millions have been killed Rwanda is still fresh and same with the Nigeria civil war gopel8052: 8 Likes |

badmanjo:That's true. Work as if it's all depends on your efforts, after that, pray like it all depends on God. Christians will often jeer at rich people and say that their wealth was ill gotten, not everyone can steal to be rich. There's two figures in the bible, Jacob and Esau, one got the blessing to prosper and the other worked really hard and was restless. After Esau succeeded, he came to visit Jacob with an escort of 400 men. Jacob heard about his entourage, panicked, divided his family into two and fled. Jacob japa o, e shock am! You see the way Dubai is beautiful, Democracy in America, Royalty in the UK. God/ Allah didn't come down to create these things, men did. Have you ever asked yourself That pastor that said God said he will bless you if you bring your tithe, first fruit, and seeds to the church, why hasn't the pastor applied these principles himself to get the needed funds he needs. He suppose to give out also to get the blessings. He pays no tax, people work for the church tirelessly for free,.... Faith without works is dead!!! 8 Likes 1 Share |

1manuel:This is very much true. It's so sad this happened and my condolences to his family. I intentionally decided to hold my peace till the investigation is finished. But I don't know how long. This is the first time Ireland is facing a case that's close to Police excessive use of Force. It's very sad to everyone. As this is a country that have experienced Racism themselves by the English especially with signs infront of the pubs, where they wrote No Blacks, No dogs, No irish. If you're black and irish, you can't go in for pint. Shocking!!!!! As an African or coloured in Ireland, every action you display reflects on your Race! This means that if you're shown to be nasty, it is automatically applied to any African or coloured person they meet in future. Then from there biases starts to develop. One of the positive bias is that African men have huge phallus, we're hardworking. I want to believe we're mature. Negative bias is that we're violent, thugs, and criminal. Biases are not exactly true in all cases since it's not backed by scientific findings, but they are easily believed and could spread widely. I find that you must be careful when an Irish tells you that they've visited Nigeria, trust me, given the way our touts behave and how people will try to extort them coupled with our insidious police and SARS, I find them to be very cautious and demeaning. To a large extent, if you tell me you have visited Nigeria. I will easily lose interest in you and continue my routine. I watched a very short gif of what happened. It's really not clear actually. From what I saw, I could spot him charging at one of the garda officer at the scene. One of his colleagues would have opened fire in defence. Just two year ago. A garda officer was killed. Remember this people have friends and family just like us. I got to hear he wasn't in his right mind and his family sought for help. I really don't know who to blame to be honest. The garda here don't go around with guns. They said they tries to taser and pepper spray him and we're following him for close to two hours. Since he was armed and attacked the owner of one shop. Who is currently in the hospital, they had to invite the armed garda unit. When they're coming, you'll know as their vehicle is boldly written ARMED. Very scarce!!! There will be a huge Public outcry and backlash against African people in general if George succeeded in slashing the neck of one of the garda officer. It might set the motion for societal rejection of Africans in Ireland and that will not be good for those that want to come here. It might cause some legislative actions against us which is gonna be bad. Apart from the few irish bad eggs. The irish government has been good to us. I've never been stopped by the garda, I'm always on the road everyday, made lots of mistakes on the road, flouted traffic laws, never been stopped or harrassed. Even when they're doing stop and search, I just wave them and continue on. I'm only here to study, and the government gave everyone €350 weekly, I'm not a citizen o. Just here on a visa. What about the racism there in Nigeria. Forget the stupid name we gave it, tribalism is bullshit. We should be ashamed of ourselves. Even some Igbos that live in the west and north, can they allow yorubas to come live in the east? And all the childish display we have, calling an Igbo person your brother just because you're also Igbo. It's irritating. I get patronised that way a lot, and I find it disgusting, can you call a northerner your brother if you're yoruba? Think ye about these things. Howard was killed in the USA two months ago. That was shocking and more serious than what happened here in Dublin. He was shot while walking away from the Cops. Very very sad. George was killed charging towards the cops. These are two different scenarios. And let's think about the terrible atrocities commited by the cops with full support of that Racist of a President. If he doesn't concede, he will be thrown out through the window. How can you be Tribalist and Racist in 2021?? I was watching what he caused and I almost fainted. Why will someone wants to destroy Democracy that have gone through decades and century of Fine tuning and Mastery. How can the USA tell other countries to give power to the People? This is why I avoid believing in a leader, I like to believe in people and their collective voice. A leader got so selfish and see what is happening. People following someone Blindly. It's a wonder how their the developed country. Even Africans supported this man. This goes to show how we are as a nation. Fake Pastorpreneurs prayed hard for Trump to win, and he lost big. Biden won with a landslide in trumps words. There's a protest in Ireland about the Death of George, I'm in full support of a Peaceful protest because there are lots of benefits. No government is happy when there's a protest so they basically watch and take action accordingly, it is the backbone of democracy. People should be able to express their opinion as the power belongs to the people. The government will take more decisive action to ensure that occurrence of this event is impossible. Imagine if we all kept quiet and start moping, some garda that racist will become very bold and start to be cruel. Before we start to take action, it would have gotten out of hand like it is in America. But the protest has to be peaceful. The garda will only be invited to watch and do nothing. Some of them will grab coffee and enjoy the sun if it comes out. Lately I saw some coloured people kicking a dublin bus, I got really pissed off. As long as its peaceful, they'll leave you alone. The government won't infiltrate your protests with thugs like Nigeria did or send White supremacist to pose as blacks and do damage, thereby undermining the peaceful election and release the full wrath of the Armed Forces. To cap it all. I trust the Garda here than a Nigerian police. 14 Likes |

Chiggsglover:I have met Garda many times for help and transportation. Everyone in Europe know Gardas are the Europeans easiest police officers because I can shout on them but I can't try that with German police because they will beat the shit out of me. I used to work around the back of the airport and most times I have to walked over 1hour because no Dublin bus in that area and Gardas always pass by me and I mean all unit from plain Garda, ACU and Detectives and I have never for once been stop by them and yet am a black person. 8 Likes |

seunny4lif: Thank you very much bro, I read your input on this thread and I learnt a lot myself. You've been here for more than 10 years, and you have experienced all there is to see. As long as your hands are clean, that's why I stick to my booze, I avoid drugs to keep clean, I avoid people that smoke weed just to avoid trouble also, it's only people whose hands are not clean that will be shouting how brutal the garda is. When you do something bad in Nigeria, and the police grabs you, it's the same thing, only difference is that, it's almost impossible to bribe them. If they're in good mood, they only let you go with a verbal warning, chikena. Today marked when I boarded my flight in Lagos with Qatar Airways, ready for my flight to Doha. 7 Likes |
