I had to heal from my csection. Breast milk wasn't coming out. Nurses said I should keep pressing my nipples. Even hubby had to buy manual pump. All to no avail.

Baby was wailing with hunger. She's not very patient

We went home, the struggle continued. Back in the hospital, I had to commence formula so she doesn't starve.

While at home, she refused the nipple cos I guess she found the bottle easier and whenever she tried to suckle on breast, it gives her lil drops.

At some point, I was expressing with hand until I got an electric pump. When I'm supposed to be sleeping, I'm busy pumping.

I was told that the milk wasn't flowing well cos I wasn't eating well. Oya na, I ate what I could but still pumping as lil as 20oz.

I got tired. I got worried. I was at the point of depression but cos I refused to admit to such.

It was so bad that I couldn't bond with my baby and I couldn't rest.

I'm glad everything worked out. I believe I have better experience now

how did u get to handle this where u still able to breast feed exclusively

I vomited in the theatre o...the kind fear that gripped me when I started having a funny feeling on my chest wasn't funny at all

Apparently the vomiting is a normal reaction to one of the medication. I wasn't warned about the chest pressure when I had my first and it really scared me.

Thanks cappo. Yesso. My bp is a little high and currently being closely monitored. I am on Methyldopa and Nifedipine as well.

Ok. Thats most likely the cause of the swollen feet...as long as you're being monitored its fine.

So sorry I've been quiet, I agree we need motivation especially now.
I'm 35weeks and 4days today. I was told my baby was breech at 32weeks which actually got me worried but today the doctor confirmed he's in cephalic position (heads down).
So far everything has been good, all thanks to God.
My hospital bag is already packed.

I hope you're doing great also.

No I couldn't. She didn't accept it.
This made me feel sad the more cos I read alot about breast feeding bonding mother and child; as well as boosting child's immunity and mentality.

When I reflect on everything, I realise I had no reason to worry. Her immunity and mental growth started from the womb. I took my vitamins and ate good food. It's all thanks to God

I just had to work with my child. She never accepted the breast. Even the paediatrician and nurses tried but she no gree.
I kept on expressing as much as I can for 4 months. The quantity was never enough for one meal.

I’m in awe of God’s grace and mercy on my life and very grateful to God.

Good morning mamas, I had a miscarriage two days ago at 11 weeks+

Nobody ever says miscarriage pain is so painful, and then the evacuation, the worst pain I've ever had in my life.

Please I have some questions to ask:

1. Why can't doctors have a reason for a miscarriage?
2. How soon is healthy to start trying for another baby? (even though DH says we should hold on for a year to recover from the trauma of the miscarriage, but I can't wait that long)
3. What is the likelihood of another miscarriage after a miscarriage? (Cos I'm so scared, as it's not a good experience)

Please help a supposed FTM..

We are doing well, just that the heat these days is crazy and I am currently looking for a new waist to buy( should you see someone who is selling). I recently started coughing again because I slept with fan due to heat . For shopping, my mum would be coming later in the month to help with it and the packing.
