SirBen90:

The "12 months" moratorium on your offer letter means that you have exactly one year before you start repaying the loan. The one year starts counting from the day you received the funds into your bank account.

Have you received the details of the nirsal account you would repay the loan into? Has Nirsal given you any update regarding the disbursed funds?

Asking for a friend.

No, I have not been sent d details

I am so sad right now. The other man I applied on his behalf - a pastor has been scammed of his money. He got the approval on 23rd like most and accepted the offer same day, 280k. Last night we were discussing and he mentioned to us (couple of his friends) that he received a call at noon from his "fcmb account officer" telling him his account needs to be updated. Long story short, the scammer asked him to call back a code sent to his phone, and he did.
He had last week filled and submitted an "women enpowement" form. I think that's were the scam came from.

I advised him first thing this morning he should reach his bank so they could block the account or do something helpful to him. But alas, NIRSAL credited his account at just past 11 pm last night, and this morning by 6am his account was wiped clean.

Anyone who has experience on this should please advise on how to handle such.

So sad,
I have always tell pple to ba acquitance with information, how will someone call from your bank and ask you to send one code and you will do it, if this happens to a pastor what will happen to the followers? Things are not done that way.
When you seek for information you will get the right knowledge in might take time because fake information have full everywhere now but nevertheless you will still get the best.
I am sure this victim might have hear about this style of fraud before but believing it can happen to her now she life.

I think we should unanimously invite our brother Ewizard to teach us more on how to discern a genuine website info.
Yesterday morning somebody sent me one of the fake link I told him categorically that it's fake and if he submit his info they can use it against her later

So bad. But this scam isn't new and there are various 2arnings out there against replying to such calls or messages.

So bad he will have to pay for the loan he never used.

Getting back the money or the fraudster will be quite hard becausr it will involve police and getting court order
Banks cant help without seeing court order to freeze the fraudater's recipient acct.

Court order will be needed for any action to be taken on the said acct.

My brother, any move will be too late as the fruadstar would have taken neccesary step by cashing out the money.
May God just help us, in November 2020 there was a link going viral to sign up for Covid 19 stimulus package of 20000 each to some certain number of people. I asked myself is it federal government that will say they want to give 20000 to 3000 people? The info is not logical and not reliable, they even promised to start paying buy 1st week in December, those form are used to gather info to use it against people later, as anyone receive the 20k till today but peoples informations are store up somewhere for latter use. If you think you don't have anything in your account today, they will monitor you till you have money in your account.
There was a link to check Npower Batch C status of eligibility when you fill in your details the site will ask to send a link to some number of WhatsApp group, look at that. Did Federal government has us to send to WhatsApp group before we can qualify for the loan?
The issue I have with people is that they will fail to learn from other peoples story and they will not share it with people around them before going ahead.
My wife might have given out her information on several occasions but she will share it with me first and I will tell her the link is either fake or real.

So sorry about this, but this particular information has been shared on Whatsapp platforms that if anyone call you and ask you to resend a code, that we should not respond, that it is scammers" work. So I wonder why he still fell for such.

I pray the person that scammed him will meet his Waterloo soon.

Yes, my young bro was credited today.
Approved for 200k Dec 24 but #187, 600 was credited.

Who knows reason for this high deduction becos according to the signed agreement their processing fee is 4% but this deduction is far above 4%.

My journey,

November 27th I got approval message and accepted the offer for 500k.
I supplied UBA details

Waited
Waited
And
Waited

I decided on the 22nd of December after waiting to check if there was limit on my account and truly there was.

I visited NIRSL office in Ibadan to make enquiries to see if I could change the account but I was told they cant pay into any other account apart from UBA so I will just have to upgrade.

23rd december I rushed to UBA and did the upgrade successfully.

24th I rushed to their office again (NIRSL) to inform them an upgrade had been made, the guy said make I no worry that they will continue to try pushing.

24th evening, UBA placed restriction on my account because of the upgrade till 28th December.

30th Nirsal created an account for me and sent me account number.

Waited
Waited
And waited
Checked the app daily .

Yesterday I visited their branch again.
The guy I spoke with made enquiries about everything I wrote above here. And he mentioned that the truth is that they are trying to reconcile accounts at least for the next 2 weeks so there wont be disbursements during this period. He said I should just hold on for sometime again.

Disregard any mssg/person informing you to pay in 3 months time, it's 12 month moratorium for everybody and it starts counting from the day your bank acct gets credited!
