I decided to suspend my 3bedroom(I earlier brought the plan here for criticisms) and start with the 2bedroom bungalow/1bedroom BQ, attached is the floor plan and the type of roof I plan to do.

The ground is a solid one and since I dont intend to do a high pitched roof or parapet, do I need to introduce pillars?

Now the surrounding area of the land is being marketed and acquired by Estate owners who are advertising with Governors consent as title .

I called the company that sold to me and i was told i need to process"Deed of Rectification "with Lagos state Government.

My question is , hows the process like ? What document should be expected to get ? What's required of me to tender at Lagos State office .
Kindly explain more to me for better understanding .

Oga Spyder suggested buying materials when you have the cash because according to him, the price will keep increasing. Obviously he knows more than many us.


Let me give you an idea why I'm angry. December 12 or thereabouts, there's this material I paid 23,000 for and gave a client estimate with hope it will be around 25-27,000 only to be told it's 37,000. #12,000 difference and the sad thing is that very handful of delears have it as many are yet to restock. There are fears that buying new goods will even come with its own price increase.

In which world can you anticipate #12,000 increase on a single good

As for pillars, Its a common thing amongst layfolks not to use pillars for bungalow, I am more concerned with with future maintenance, currently have an old family house, we couldn't change from louvers to Sliding glass due the absence of lintel over that point. Please if I am to introduce pillars, can you mark out where they should be? what size of rods should I be looking at?
