Previously I created a thread on how to make a nice Ngerian stew. You can find it HERE.

If you have learned that one, we can proceed to this. Buka stew is that stew you see in mama put. They are usually fluid with enough oil. They will always stir it, before they begin the hard work of finding your favourite meat. Lol

Cc: Eddygourdo, come see how palm oil can give a good stew.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED;

Patience
Palm oil
Tatashe (red and green)
Tomatoes
Scotch bonnet pepper
Assorted meat
Salt
Seasoning cubes (knorr chicken)
Onions
Good pot to withstand the boiling without burning.

Fun fact: Do you know your tatashe is the red variant of green pepper? Yes, the green pepper you use for fried rice.

Pic 1: I thought this guy was selling tatashe o, he had only tomatoes. Was so impressed with the arrangement.

Pic 2: He asked me to snap the front too, lol. Last last, I bought tomatoes that I thought I didn’t need.

Pic 3: The exact way I combined my pepper mix

A colleague taught me that, she actually came to my place then and showed me, but I don’t like it. I usually avoid cooking things I don’t like- except he likes it. Example is egusi soup.

How come? It seems like something anyone would hardly dislike, since it's all just green peppers (of different kinds) fried in bleached oil....kinda like pepper stew

Or is it because of the iru? I'd skip that if I had to make it.

You have a point there. Maybe I should try making it myself. The iru wasn’t much of a problem. I’ll make it myself and see how it goes.

That's a good marketing strategy, eye catchy, there is no way it won't draw customers. Very unique. It reminds of a woman that sells abacha in my school then, she arranges all the ingredients in such a way that even if you dont want to eat abacha, you will buy it for her patience. Its good to be unique.
