can i attached my fixed deposit certificate to replace my savings bank statement , ?

davo99:

So it's actually a 1 year MBS statement I sent to them, not 6 months.
And also, the limits of the account balance in the account at the time of submission should be 30k CAD. Though it's just always safer to have in excess of 30K CAD, About 10m Naira or so.
As it's never a bad idea to have more than needed, just make sure you don't have less than 30k CAD.

Thanks @awys. I also sent the mails like you have described, was just wondering if one could bcc all of them jare. As per Webform, I only sent to Nairobi, think I'll raise same to other processing offices as stated. Thanks.

Also, how often do send mails and raise Webforms?

It will end in praise for us all...

awys:

I sent the mails individually ,I didn't blind copy what I did was I copied the content of the mail and was just pasting it individually to each email addresses and sent them. Then I just selected few visa offices for the webforms the key ones like Nairobi, beijing,London,Newyork,Accra, ganzu

Honestly, I don't know.

But note that the key reason for using MBS is that it cuts short the communication time that the embassy uses to verify that your account statement is valid from the bank. Cos the MBS is valid on sight, they don't have to do any back and forth with banks to confirm it's validity. They just login with the MBS pass-code you provide and they see your statement.

So if it's for NSE, using a fixed deposit, might just negate that advantage of speed.

P.S: Nothing is sure with this guys, so if you absolutely CAN NOT get the MBS, then you could as well just try the fixed deposit.

Pictures dont matter your marriage certificate is enough proof

Hello Angels1,

True that the MC is the most valid proof of marriage, but pictures actually helps to support the MC to tell the love story especially when the moniker got married after application approval.

In this case, the moniker must prove that the marriage is not arranged.

Cheers!

Guys, let me too ask for more enlightenment.
Now is the time to ask before admission and application.

I have read two posts on older applicants hence the trigger to ask for info.
I am 36 now. Seeking for postgraduate masters admission to for masters in law.
I have applied to a couple of unis in Canny. Fingers crossed as I await response.
My bachelor in law cgpa was 3.67. Good but not so high naa so it may not be so easy getting admission from Canny schools.
I have a masters from Nigeria, but my cgpa was 3.12 or so so phd admission is even out of it.

Now all my thought was I would not mention my Masters in law but I read here that its a bad idea.

So if I mention it will it affect my visa application adversely cos of career progression? What reasons can I give for wanting to do a second masters.

I read here where someone was telling natured applicants to apply for pgd because it can show professional progress. That can work as I have seen a few courses in my line of work. Should I pursue that line? Will it make sense to do pgd after a masters in law.
How would u couch it..

Pls wonderful people, advices are welcome.
Thanks .

Congratulations on your admission.
As for whether to apply alone or with your family, it depends on what you want. My sincere advise will be for you to first apply alone while you use your family as your home-tie, then you can apply for them once you secure your TRV.
As for NSE program, check the first page of this part to see the requirements, if you qualify for it then IRCC will automatically process your app based on that.
The additional documents required for the NSE are as follows:
1. IELTS score of at least (6), general or academy will do.
2. SOA of at least CAD30k for at least 6 months prior to your application and the account must have been running for at least 1 year.
If you already have the above listed documents then you can include them in your application and you will automatically qualify for the NSE processing time.
Like I said earlier, try to read the first page of this part and also IRCC site for more information on documents to be submitted.
Good luck

Hello @ JustMellow,

So does this mean that if IRCC tries to open the document after one month of generating it, they will not be able to view it

It will end in praise for us all...

Hello TeeMade,

No. The VO can always open the MBS from their end with the generated Ticket numbr and Password ID as long as it is valid.

The requirement by IRCC states that prior to generating the POF, it can stay up to a period of 30days before its considered invalid. Its the onus of PA to put in the application before the 30days elapses otherwise PA must generate a new POF to be considered valid.

Hope its clear now.

Dear Gurus, Please I need your advise on how eligible or my chances of getting a Canadian Study Visa

I am a married woman with kids. I have a BSc in Economics (good 2:1)and an ICAN holder. I have more than 6 years work experience. I currently work with a multinational company. I wish to study Masters in Economics. I currently have close to 7m in my naira account and would fund my study myself.

My worries now is I don't know if the 7m will be enough for me if I apply alone and later apply for my kids and hubby to join me during my study
Also, I don't want to stay far away for too long, so I don't know how quick the visa for my hubby and kids can be processed once I get mine.My hubby does his own business and a landed property to show home ties. I have no travel history and have applied to 2 low tuition universities, still expecting admission.

Am I good to go or do I wait till I can add more funds?

I can't say if the amount will be enough or not because you don't know how much your tuition will be. Mind you, you need to show a living expenses of at least CAD10k for your first year(in all province except Quebec which is at least CAD11K)
Since your husband has his own business/source of income, he can be a co-sponsor during your application. That way he can say your subsequent fees will be taken care of by him (if your 7 million is not enough).
As for his application and that of your kids, the processing time as at the time they apply will determine how long their application will run, but don't be too concern about that for now.

Your spouse would apply for spousal open work permit (SOWP). You need to provide legal documents to prove that you're legally married to him.

You need the following documents to establish relationship with your spouse (hubby)

PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP DOCUMENTS
1. Marriage Certificate
2. Newspaper change of name
3. Throw back family pictures
4. Snap shot of WhatsApp video call or messages for the last six months (if any).
5. Wedding photos.

I hope this information is helpful to your enquiry.

How do they know if it has and how long does it take before one gets an answer once those 2 start?

Good evening everyone, am a newbie here but has been following this thread for a few days now, please has a new one who opted in for NSE in December gotten a feedback? I resubmitted my Doc when I had my POF requirement ready Dec 11th, it was confirmed received Dec 14th, I didn't submit my Upfront medicals then has I didn't haven't done it, i had it done Jan 5th and expected it to has been sent to IRCC since yesterday, I haven't gotten any notifications from them till this minute, may because is weekend Pls how long does it take them to confirm the receipt of our upfront medical records? Have been really worried especially because of this silence since 14th of Dec, anyone to help with my many questions here?

uote author=efedhomav post=97874604]I have shouted a resounding AMEN! My siblings where around me when I shouted and I did not even mind their presence. Focused on the prayer and the many declarations. I really needed this.

I have applied for a study visa twice and have been denied. I was denied on the following grounds the first time (2015). I cannot remember all the reasons for denial the second time(2016). But same reasons in the first were also amongst the reason for denial.
''You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:
1. travel history
2. family ties in Canada and in country of residence
3. length of proposed stay in Canada
4. purpose of visit
5. personal assets and financial status.''

Update on my current status regarding the above:
I will be 37 years old by August 2021.
I have not travelled out of Nigeria yet
I have my parents and 4 of my siblings here in Nigeria. I have a younger brother living and working in Canada after studying there.

I want to begin another application this year 2021 but someone advised me to first of all request for my GCMS file before applying again. a link (https://www.gcmsbuddy.com/ ) was sent to me by a friend to register and make the request. Please can I request for my GCMS myself or do I need an agent to make the request for me? And please how do I go about the request? What information will I need to make the request?

Also, since the course applied for also matters in being granted a visa, please I also need a candid advice on what course is preferable for me to apply for as my undergraduate degree study which is Geography & Environmental Management (Second Class Lower Division) is entirely different from my line of work (Administrative/Finance Officer) of over 7 years in an Insurance company. I do have 4 course option I will like to apply for:

1. Business Administration in Human Resource Management
2. Operations Management
3. International Business Management OR
4. Nursing (Healthcare Assistant)

My Dad who is now retired for over 2 years now will be sponsoring me for my study.
Please I want to know if it is advisable to apply again, and if I will get the study visa this time if I apply.

Thanks so much and God bless you richly.
