Harbay30: Good evening everyone, am a newbie here but has been following this thread for a few days now, please has a new one who opted in for NSE in December gotten a feedback? I resubmitted my Doc when I had my POF requirement ready Dec 11th, it was confirmed received Dec 14th, I didn't submit my Upfront medicals then has I didn't haven't done it, i had it done Jan 5th and expected it to has been sent to IRCC since yesterday, I haven't gotten any notifications from them till this minute, may because is weekend Pls how long does it take them to confirm the receipt of our upfront medical records? Have been really worried especially because of this silence since 14th of Dec, anyone to help with my many questions here? Hello Harbay 30 you are meant to raise a webform and send emails to the addresses of the visa offices as posted on this platform and attached the E-MEDICAL SHEET that was given to you by the hospital
uote author=efedhomav post=97874604]I have shouted a resounding AMEN! My siblings where around me when I shouted and I did not even mind their presence. Focused on the prayer and the many declarations. I really needed this.
I have applied for a study visa twice and have been denied. I was denied on the following grounds the first time (2015). I cannot remember all the reasons for denial the second time(2016). But same reasons in the first were also amongst the reason for denial. ''You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including: 1. travel history 2. family ties in Canada and in country of residence 3. length of proposed stay in Canada 4. purpose of visit 5. personal assets and financial status.''
Update on my current status regarding the above: I will be 37 years old by August 2021. I have not travelled out of Nigeria yet I have my parents and 4 of my siblings here in Nigeria. I have a younger brother living and working in Canada after studying there.
I want to begin another application this year 2021 but someone advised me to first of all request for my GCMS file before applying again. a link (https://www.gcmsbuddy.com/ ) was sent to me by a friend to register and make the request. Please can I request for my GCMS myself or do I need an agent to make the request for me? And please how do I go about the request? What information will I need to make the request?
Also, since the course applied for also matters in being granted a visa, please I also need a candid advice on what course is preferable for me to apply for as my undergraduate degree study which is Geography & Environmental Management (Second Class Lower Division) is entirely different from my line of work (Administrative/Finance Officer) of over 7 years in an Insurance company. I do have 4 course option I will like to apply for:
1. Business Administration in Human Resource Management 2. Operations Management 3. International Business Management OR 4. Nursing (Healthcare Assistant)
My Dad who is now retired for over 2 years now will be sponsoring me for my study. Please I want to know if it is advisable to apply again, and if I will get the study visa this time if I apply.
Thanks so much and God bless you richly.

Baphil: Yes, when I read through here and also from my friend's application, I saw that mybankstatement is compulsory for NSE, so I generated it here upfront.
You are the right and brilliant course. Upfront upload of both ielts and mybankstatement will save you time and anxiety.
All the best in your application.
Thank you so much. I tap into your GRACE!!! |

Gorgeousasanat: Dear Gurus, Please I need your advise on how eligible or my chances of getting a Canadian Study Visa
I am a married woman with kids. I have a BSc in Economics (good 2:1)and an ICAN holder. I have more than 6 years work experience. I currently work with a multinational company. I wish to study Masters in Economics. I currently have close to 7m in my naira account and would fund my study myself.
My worries now is I don't know if the 7m will be enough for me if I apply alone and later apply for my kids and hubby to join me during my study Also, I don't want to stay far away for too long, so I don't know how quick the visa for my hubby and kids can be processed once I get mine.My hubby does his own business and a landed property to show home ties. I have no travel history and have applied to 2 low tuition universities, still expecting admission.
Am I good to go or do I wait till I can add more funds? Hi, we're in similar situation. I also have a degree in Economics and have applied for a Masters in Economics. I'm just hoping I'll get funding to reduce the burden of POF. As for hubby and kids I'll worry about that when i get there. I advice you do same too, just focus on building your POF if you can and pray for the best outcome with your application. It will end in praise for us. 3 Likes |

@JustMellow, @Frankrobbn1 Pls what if change of name has not been done although married years before applying? Will that be an issue? Kindly respond. Thank you JustMellow:
Hello Angels1,
True that the MC is the most valid proof of marriage, but pictures actually helps to support the MC to tell the love story especially when the moniker got married after application approval.
In this case, the moniker most prove that the marriage is not arranged.
Cheers! |

Same here oh, infact when PPR came, it didn't show as final decision did not show as "approved" and as this minute it is still showing "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.", but the final decision has changed to as "approved", Also, I noticed that they didn't include the NSE docs I sent via mails. awys:

I think in Otunatee's case, his Eligibility was still showing "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility." I'm not completely sure though, he can confirm when he reads this. IT WILL END IN PRAISES IN THE SHORTEST POSSIBLE TIME. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Yyum: 11:26pm On Jan 09, 2021 |
TeeMade: Hello @Yyum,
Is it your personal investment? If yes and it has more than enough funds for your study and living expense, you may be able to use it. By more than enough, I mean you'll only exhaust like 50% to 60% or a lil less/more of the funds for your study plans/stay in Canada so the VO does not think you want to spend all that you have saved to study in Canada and you claim you're coming back, plus will your gain on your return be worth the investment (talking about your career progression after studying) Then the question of "is it a reasonable expense" comes up like I've seen on several gcms notes on this platform. This is what can make it risky which is why its better to have more than a single source of POF in my own opinion oh.
If the funds are much more than enough and you decide to use it as nothing is cast in stone here, please ensure to get a reference letter from the bank and it should state that the funds are available to you whenever you need it. All the best.
I believe the gurus here can advise you better from their wealth of experience.
It will end in praise for us all...
Thanks so much,it’s a joint investment account, mine n spouse, yes I intend to include other pof. I really appreciate your input. |

Hello everyone, I am so confused about how to go about my POF.
We have a food family business with my name on the CAC document as part of the owners.
Can this business sponsor me by sending the whole money at once to my account?
Or should my husband be the sponsor?
Is it compulsory to send the money to my own account in bits or the money for my proof of funds can be sent at once?
Note: I studied industrial chemistry as my first degree. I'm going for global business Management in Humber college to specialise in fashion Management in the 2nd year. (I have an offer letter already for fall 2021) My fashion business is registered with CAC and I have certificates from my fashion schools, with presence on social media. Which documents can I submit to support my application.
I hope I have a good chance of getting a visa. 1 Like |

I hope I have a good chance of getting a visa. My 2kobo on this is... If yoy husband has the necessary funds, he can be your sponsor while you send a few funds(not so much) to cover for your living expenses of $10,000. I advise against the use of company funds to sponsor your application. If your husband cant, then you may need to send the money in bits. You are to submit documents to prove you are into the fashion business which is why you are going for the program related to your experience. All you have mentioned is fine and good. 1 Like |
