Fulani should leave people villages and go back to there Sahel or must be made to live on rent so that, they will know one day, there rent will expire. The idea of occupying people land/villages and expanding should not be welcome.

If the Western State Governments don't strictly define the duties and jurisdictions of these Amotekun, we will have another ethnic crisis.
Amotekun is suppose to apprehend and hand over to police. Or call police for backup. All this one they are taking laws into their own hands will backfire.
You can't just conclude someone is a kidnapper without any abductor.

I remember one day travelling to Igbo ora in Oyo state, our car got spoilt and some villagers had to take us in, telling us if we had spent 30minutes more around there, we would surely be kidnapped by the Fulani's. Everyone, started sharing their own horrific stories with Fulani heardsmen around the area, they said once it is 9pm they will bring their cows to the express road and start either robbing or kidnapping people. That's how bad the Fulani's can be, and unlike other tribe kidnapping gangs, there's a high percentage of death when you are kidnapped, whether they collect money or not, they can still decide to kill you. As someone that has witnessed this, I wouldn't say the Fulani's were innocent.

I asked the question, is it possible for that to happen in any area in the North, I'm sure it will only take them a day to destroy and kill all the Yoruba's in the area

So there are Fulani and Bororo villages in Oyo State? With time, those Fulanis will start fighting the indigenes for ownership of their ancestral lands. Some people can not learn from history.

You probably do not know what you are calling for. Yourubas have several communities in the north and many have lived there for generations and mostly nobody have problems with that. The Yoruba claim civilization. They are the most educated , they have more lawyers more judges and more professors of law than the rest of the country put together.

The headline is inciting. Saharareporters should do better. This should be about criminality and not tribe. The headline alone has given it an ethnic coloration so it’s going to be difficult for any objective take at this point in time. Sowore must stop the negative reporting of Amotekun’s activities.

From accounts given by both sides, it appears that (1) some people were killed (2) they were Fulani folks. What is unclear is the circumstances, given that there has been a lot of perpetrated by Fulani. So the headline "Fulani Kidnappers or innocent Fulani herders?" appears to be fair reporting.

Amotekun is doing well but the media is painting them black

Amotekun faced fulani herdsmen who had AK47 in their hands. Both fulani terrorists and smotekun lost people in the battle. They got a report that they were coming to sack the oyo village so, in a swift reaction amotekun came to their rescue. These same fools had been having a field day in the past in that region. The federal government would only condemn and look the other way while the killing spree continues.

In the past administration in oyo, because of party loyalty of the then government to the centre, they covered up lots of their attacks in their usual manner. It was said that people had been fleeing that village already as the terrorists, after gunning down a man and his son, proceeded to houses and started burning them, same way they do in the north, before amotekun came to overpower them. Some of them were said to have fled into the bush with gunshot wounds only to die later. The best thing that has ever happened to our region and Nigeria was the establishment of the Amotekun corps. Kudos.
