After registering, on the login page, you will see three signs

S sign(liquid SCR) - This is the platform's native token which is called Scorum Coins (SCR) . This SCR can be converted to other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Eos, and can also be converted to local cash (fiat). This SCR can be withdrawn at any time.

P sign(Scorum Power) - This is Scorum power. This is the vested amount of SCR. In Layman's English, it means the amount of SCR that is locked up. I know you are wondering why it is locked up.

You see, when you publish a post on Scorum, and people vote it i.e., upvote it. The value of their upvote depends on the amount SCR vested. If I have 10,000 SCR vested, my upvote value will be different from someone that has 100 SCR vested.
This vested SCR can be powered down in 52 weeks, which will turn it to liquid SCR that can be sold.

Once you give a post full upvote, your 100% voting power reduces to 95%, and it will take 5 hours for it to regenerate back to 100%. Your upvote value at 100% is not the same at 95% vice versa.

This is to reduce the rate at which the Scorum Coins is printed so it won't be too much in circulation so there won't be inflation
