UGHELLI – HUNDREDS of youths from Urhobo ethnic nationality, yesterday barricaded the East-West road in protest of the appointment of Mr. Effiong Okon Akwa as sole administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

The Niger Delta people do not really know what they want.
They started the agitation for resource control, and despite all that has been given to them-NDDC, 13% derivation, huge monthly allocations, among others, they have little or nothing to show for it.
Instead of them to challenge their leaders to be accountable and prudent in utilising the huge resources they have, they keep going berserk unnecessarily.
