Try getting yourself involved in a project/job to keep you busy and productive and get your mind off stressors

Don't tamper with a life you did not create.

Turn to God in prayers first things first and He'll come to your aid.

Every one you see or come across has one or two things bothering them in life but how you handle what is bothering you determines how you'll end up.
Learn not to dwell on the negative situations sorrounding you. Go out and mingle with people if staying indoors all by yourself makes it overwhelming to a point of contemplating the dreadful.

Get busy with fun stuffs. Anything that tickles your fancy and before long, you'll overcome depression.

Also try sharing your worries and fears with others and see them pour out loads of life problems that might even be huger than yours and you'll feel a bit relieved that you're not alone. Don't bottle up feelings, let it out of your chest and the burden will be lifted off.

Lastly, cast all your cares and worries at His feet and enter into His rest through prayers and studying the word of God. I tell you, you'll see things working out for your good.

Seek out a mental health professional. If clinically diagnosed, the psychiatrist will write out prescriptions and there is also the need to attend psychotherapy sessions.

..I have been where you are now once .I even attempt to end my life with rat poison .why I dey alive be say I use my last 100 naira buy the rat poison thinking say the dose go reach..Don't make another wrong turn. You need a break / change of environment - take a holiday if you can afford one or at least a weekend getaway at a nice hotel (preferably alone) pour your heart out in a diary, pray if you are a believer, watch your favourite shows, watch lots of comedy, eat as much as you like and sleep for hours. . When you return from your break, make a conscious effort to surround yourself with loved ones and stay clear of toxicity.

I have lost interest in almost everything, even to pray I feel God has left me, got a giveaway here from Poco, but all went on drugs, still I'm down, mine is now bigger than depression, I'm really tired of going on. just now I sent a text to a nairalander who wants to help me get some drugs again...

Hmmm...

Unfortunately in Nigeria, therapists are not much as they should and only few can afford them. Some cultures even consider the consultation of a therapist a taboo. Imagine that! Some see pastors as therapist, psychologist, teacher, guardian, counselor etc...just one person...even when it's obvious most of these pastors don't understand psychology. Nobody including pastors can advice beyond his own experience. One may not understand what he/she has not experienced before. Some pastors are quick to bind and cast out over a simple psychological issue. Some parents who abandon their children to death after accusing them of witchcraft surprisingly are advised by pastors and prophets

it's really very bad, they stay at the UK now, even the doctors there said that there is no remedy for her, but we just hope she gets better, at least for now she remembers little..

some people think depression is a joke, but they don't know how hard it is fighting yourself to live.

Proper management of mental health issues which consists of adherence to medication, psychotherapy, family/social support as these are very important.

and then long walks I would walk sometime long hours with my earphones plugged in

I once crossed local government but it helped me get tired hence I sleep better ... bottom line don't stay indoors especially if you live alone

finally not for all but I recommend you find Christ it was the only pill I needed
