It's not about the money. Every man will definitely spend on someone who reciprocates the love he gives to her.

But finding that one girl who will reciprocate your love is the problem. Many girls today are leaches. To them relationship is a lucrative business, they keep countless men with the sole aim of milking them dry (kayamata comes to mind).
