unshakablejihad: You are senseless to threaten an Anambra man. You guys always claim nwadiana in Anambra just to buy some acceptance. May I remind you that as a nwadiana you can't break kola ,can't have lands ,can't take nze na ozo and will not meddle in our affairs. So , therefore , go back to your father's land and mind your business. 1 Like 1 Share |

Bonessaw: Omanbala is not a name of any town but named after the mystical river that irrigates the Anambra farm lands and enriches to for a bountiful harvest. The great Ijele masquerade and Akwunechenyi royal drums originated from there. Many of us from Dunukofia , Anaocha , Idemmili , Ekwusigo and Nnewi etc have migrations from there. A section of the Okodu clan originated from Ogbunike areas. Aguleri has amazing traditions just like Onicha , Ogbaru, Idemmili , Anaedo , Dunu settlements , Oka , Nteje , Nando , Nsugbe etc. chilu nze chie ozo. This culture fills me with deep sense of pride. We ndi Anambra share these traditions in unison and wish to remain so. 1 Like 2 Shares |

unshakablejihad: No , you are no an Anambra boy. And money does buy Nze na Ozo because it comes through your fathers lineage. Nwadiana do not take Nze titles. This alone tells me you are definitely a bastard. The only title you can take is honorary title of achievements...lmao. You are an impostor!! |
Re: Orlu: The Untold Story by IDENNAA(m): 6:58pm On Jan 11, 2021 |
unshakablejihad: For the women folk, you can take the otu odu title but never the nze na ozo because offor ozo must come from your maternal and paternal lineages.... A bastard and impostor you are. The stuppid titles being proliferated is different from the nze na ozor rooted in antiquity.....impostor |

Juicegal: Pure Isu dialect is not central Igbo we speak today like many people claim. I believe Umuahia area speaks something closer to central Igbo than every other dialect. However what I know is that every other Igbo community attested to the first European colonial investigators that the purest form of Igbo was the Isu language spoken in Isuama. 2 Likes |

Bialegend: Also include places like Mbano, Onuimo, Ideato and further down. That's the area known in the past as Isuama where Isu language was spoken and likely the first major Igbo speaking area. The Ihiala, Awo, Isseke, Ihioma, Ezinifite dialect is Orsu dialect also sometimes called Western Isuama but different from the Isu because their heritage came from the West and North migrations. Most likely the Orsu comprises of Nri and migrants from Ukwuani or Aboh in Delta whereas the Isu is more from Amaigbo and Crossriver/Aro mix up in heritage. |

Onitsha dialect was the choicest of all igbo dialects. It was the first igbo dialect that the colonists used in administration, Bible translation and mission schools https://www.academia.edu/32369727/DIALECTAL_HE

History shows that colonialist only used Onitsha dialect to administer the whole of igbo land. It was and still a superior igbo dialect

IDENNAA: Go and read the colonial archives. The Europeans documented interviews with different groups of Igbo speakers and each of them made reference to Isuama as where the purest form of Igbo was spoken. Aren't you aware that till date Ikwerres consider every Igbo as Isoma and Owerri people also consider every other Igbo further down as Isoma? That Isoma is Isuama and Isu last last. 1 Like |

Later Awka and Asaba dialect joined Onitsha dialect as the only means of administration and literature in igbo land.

Europeans never touched any other dialect in igbo land except Onitsha, Awka and Asaba. Every other igbo dialect were considered inferior by the colonialists. Nobody is interested in your Owerri village views. Stop spewing nonsense. [s] Abagworo:[/s]

Abagworo: How much exposure does the Ikwerre have of the groups north of them, prior to colonial times. Almost zilch. Please, don't bring an ignorant and inferior tribe like Ikwerre into this exchanges. Yes , I dont usually insult people but I maintain my statement. During the colonial time there were little or no interaction between the various Igbo tribes. So , how could one have known the purest form. It would make sense if you say due to their location in the Igbo heartland. Abagworo you can do better. |
