Congratulations, what’s the time frame of your application? I mean processing time
cashdosh:
My mum submitted her first visa application in October but got denied based on “Bank Statements Transaction Lacks Credibility”. However, to be honest, We did deposit a lump sum into her account from different sources which totaled 1.2 or thereabout.

A week after her first application was denied, we submitted it again without the inclusion of her bank statement but instead, with mine as her sponsor. My balance was extremely heavy with good activity on the account. This morning, she got her 4 months multiple entry visa.

Note: if you’re sponsoring any family members, ensure to include your birth certificate or a affidavit.

Kenya airways is ok ...
Kenya airways is from Lagos . Either way you’ll have to travel to Lagos. The delays with airpeace are on their local route but on South Africa and UAE( now suspended) they always keep to time. Also kenya airways will take you to Nairobi (5hrs ) and then another 4:30hrs to Johannesburg (excluding transit time). Just buy airpeace PH - Johannesburg and they’ll place you on the last flight , you won’t have to even worry about collecting your bag in Lagos as they’ll transfer it for you

I don't want to be stranded in Lagos abeg and avoid expenses of hotel bills and I'm also taking my younger brother with me...so please which airline is advisable to ply? Thanks in anticipation

Thanks for this tip... But yes, there was outflow of money as well.. But you are right , I think the logical explanation should be to separate the salary bank account from the business account... or in the future, just declare she's self employed backed by the business registration certificate and submit only the business account bank statement...
Not sure if I'm making sense..

Now that you know better, you can reapply and submit in another visa center. I mean, if you submitted in Lagos before, you can go and submit in Abuja. The two embassies work separately.

How long did it take for the visa to come out after the second submission? Thanks in anticipation

Who has idea about the cost (fees) of doing PhD in SA.
Likely institutions; University of Kwazulu-natal University of Pretoria University of Fort Hare.
And for any obvious reasons(s), you may recommend other institution (s)

It’s over eight weeks now that I submitted my application for study visa and VFS still put my application under assessment. Am tired of this waiting game coz I can’t register without submitting my study visa. I have tried all the communication Avenue I know but all proved futile. Is there anyone that have applied for study visa recently and as well attending university of pretoria kiss

Hello guys, so am thinking of relocating to Cape Town, Am a Web Developer and a Digital Marketer. Please does these profession really thrive in SA? Have been to SA before both Joburg and CT and i kinda prefer CT because of the quiet environs as i'm not good with noise.

Please any advise

Hi nairalanders. I am a first time traveler (or a would be first time traveler). I applied for a tourist S.A visa at VFS, Lagos on the 3rd of december. The trip was scheduled for the 20th of december till 26th, so its passed already. Also, everyone that I know that applied on the same day has gotten his/hers whether approved or rejected.
Each time i track my application on vfs site it shows ‘application is been processed and at the commission’. It’s over a month now and a friend of mine suggested that i should go to vfs (maybe it is there, i don’t know) as all calls have proved abortive.
I am worried and doubtful it will be in my favour considering the time taken. At least, if it will be rejected, why take so long since the time has even passed ? How can I get my passport back asap, what step can i take? I need to use the passport for another visa application.

My younger brother applied for a tourist visa since November 8 and up till now no words from them, whenever he tracks it says the same it’s saying to you “application is being accessed at the high commission” his travel date is passed. Do let me know if it turns out your passport is at vfs when you check

For University of KwaZulu PhD is free tuition . University of Pretoria around 20k rand depending on discipline while Fort hare charges between 15k to 20k, However most universities in SA have packages to support PhD candidates . You need to email the respective postgraduate officers to know the scholarships or grants available .

I was told to go to vfs and ask for a withdrawal form. it should take less than a week to be returned. Although this person tried this method years ago.

. I doubt any one got visa . Most schools resumed fully in March , though registrations will start soon. The schools are aware of the backlogs and delays confronting students. Nothing to worry about , just make sure you are in touch with your postgraduate officers

Hello guys, after the submission of the statement of account and probably visa approval, do they keep a tab on the account to ascertain the money is still intact, because I intend getting the money by loan which will be returned before leaving the country.
