Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by oluwamitomisin: 8:35pm On Dec 22, 2020 |
oluwamitomisin: Here's what I found with making payments with MOFA (and may be applicable to MOE too) I tried making payment directly on www.remita.net for authentication of docs with MOFA A GIFMIS code will be required on the payment portal. You will find the relevant codes for MOFA (55) and MOE (75) on this linkhttp://gifmis.gov.ng/gifmis/index.php/grrn2/172-grrn-abuja-new Know more about GIFMIS athttps://www.legit.ng/1181037-how-generate-gifmis-code.html 2 Likes |

Hello guys, I want to apply for a study visa but I have a NECO instead of WAEC which was stated in the requirements page on the VFS website, please is it admissible? Thanks |
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by GreatMage: 12:53pm On Dec 26, 2020 |
daryuxburg: No! Get a Waec!! |
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by drakura: 2:19pm On Dec 26, 2020 |
GreatMage: I'm going for Masters and its NECO that I have, is it allowed? |
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by GreatMage: 3:36pm On Dec 26, 2020 |
drakura: If you are going for masters you need your bachelor's certificate not Waec. If it is neco you have then include it in place of Waec. If you are going for bachelors you need your Waec certificate! |

GreatMage: Ok... Thanks |
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by daryuxburg: 9:36am On Dec 27, 2020 |
Ahh, I actually spoke with someone that currently studies in Belgium and he told me it's admissible, I just came here to confirm his claim, now I'm confused GreatMage: |
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by GreatMage: 1:58pm On Dec 27, 2020 |
daryuxburg: Are you going for bachelors? Then use Waec, but if you don't have it; use neco... As long as your school accept the neco result then you can also use it for embassy processing... If you are going for masters? Then it is not important as when going for bachelors... Bedankt |

No, Belgium doesn't have a post study visa. But you have different options if you want to stay like -Applying for another Masters (I know several who have done this and have been in Belgium for 5+ years). -You can apply for the Netherlands post study option (Link below) https://ind.nl/en/work/working_in_the_Netherlands/Pages/Looking-for-a-job-after-study-promotion-or-research.aspx -Getting a job etc. Ge0grapher: 1 Like |

Good people.I need your help and enlightenment on this my people. I graduated 2014 with2.57Gp BSc mass communication, I will like to study in Belgium for my master in any related course . I need help on how to search for schools, how to apply to schools that will give admission and the embassy procedures for visa. Thanks God bless |
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by GreatMage: 10:59am On Jan 12, 2021 |
olaadesie: Search for schools through Google or masters portal site The procedures are quiet simple; 1. Get your health certificate 2. Get your police clearance __ Pay your home administration fee 3. Legalize your documents at ministry of education 4. Legalize too at ministry of foreign affairs 5. Send your legalize documents to the Belgium embassy 6. Embassy sends back to you 7. You send the documents to VFS to send to the embassy 8. Embassy screen your documents then sends an appointment through email 9. You attend the appointment 10. Then wait for the decision 5 Likes 4 Shares |

DeeKeem:Good And there are other opportunities of internal scholarship or exchange programs |
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by victorsol(m): 11:03am On Feb 08, 2021 |
goated: Information is the key. The more we are informed, the more we save cost. Belgium universities do not have alot of scholarships except the general one like Erasmus, mastermind and vlirous. However, you can come in as a self funded student and then apply for grant in your second semester or second year... Jobs in belgium are cool for students. You can make as much as 1000 euros per month to support yourself. Though it's possible your studies is affected but i am sure, you can never be stranded. 1 Like |

olaadesie: In my opinion, your cgpa isn't bad but you need to look for school that offers your program, write the program coordinator stating your cgpa. Ask him or her if you can apply with your cgpa. Better still, try change field and do another BSc course.. and if you are asked why you are changing field, you could say it's because you developed interest in that new program after gaining experience on the field. Or look for short courses. Or look for post graduate diploma or post graduate certificate. These are not masters but they are higher than bachelors |
