Yes, got the status update and a "Correspondence letter" that I think is the LOI. But, hmm, are you sure VFS is responsible? 'cos one their mails said we should "buy services" for the return courier on their site. Was thinking I should stay calling them to return it, cos I just chatted with @Insanity and he mentioned he paid for 2-way, but had to repay VFS for a fresh return courier. Hopefully, his experience is unique to him. TheShaman: |

Oluwayemisi0507: Hello Oluwayemisi0507, Any tangible property that isn't economically generating revenue can't be counted as POF but rather more sufficient in the aspect of HT. If you included other good HTs before, I think it may be better to allow your application play out. If not, you can send the receipt ONLY if you had made clear reference of the property in your already submitted letter. Otherwise, I see no reason sending it except you decide to include an LOE for easy clarification of its purpose/relevance to your personal situation and/or application. You may as well approach a lawyer to help out with the Deed of Purchase/Transfer to support the receipt. Best of Luck |

Celoexpress: Hello Celoexpress, There is no standard format. He should write a formal letter instructing his financial institution to indulge you with your request of MBS and Reference letter. The letter should contain your full name, the address of the Canadian embassy, period of his transactional history to be generated, reasons for wanting to generate the MBS and other required personal details. Lastly, the letter should state that with his authorization, the generated MBS and Reference letter should be handed off to you. Once all formality has been done and all things checked out, you will be handed the hardcopy of the MBS and Reference for your end use. Best of Luck |

LegitPikin: Hello LegitPikin, It won't still be an issue. In the column of the IMM 1294e Form that requires you to fill your name, input your new surname in the column that asks for any other name known as or referred to. Ensure to spell this clearly in your letter. Best of Luck |

Hello Everyone. Can someone explain the marked out line and paragraph on the screenshot? I'm particularly concerned about the December 15, 2020 part, where they explained that applications received before that date would be processed via the 2 stage format we all know. I'm asking if applications received after that date would be processed via the regular study permit process as I've underlined, and what this process is all about. Lastly I don't know if these updates have been there and I didn't just Notice. I'll appreciate all responses.

Simyowe: Hello Simyowe, To the best of my knowledge, you're likely to get (Fast-Track) Advanced Diploma program for Electrical Engineering course in colleges in lieu of a PGD/C. If Fanshawe and ConestogaC don't have it, shift your focus to other closely related courses. You can check Lambton College for their Graduate Certificate in: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Quality Engineering Management Wireless Networking These programs have co-op. NEYOT88: Hello NEYOT88, I hope this is not coming late. However, the Tourist visa can help your child facilitate entry and the status can be changed to a Visitor's Record prior to its expiry. In addendem: Given the effect of COVID-19, people with Tourist visa may not be allowed entry as it will be classified as a non-essential travel to Canada. If the vaccines works and the effect of COVID subsides, maybe Canada would open their borders to all type of visa holder prior before you plan to travel–hopefully. If the above make sense to you, then you may just consider applying for a VV for your child and when its approved it get stamped into the existing PP as the valid authorization. If it happens the processing went sideways and if the effect of COVID-19 has gradually subsided, then your child could travel with the Tourist visa IF Canada already opens her borders. BTW, the bolded must be applied for and its not automatically issued. Best of Luck 1 Like |

Sleeveheart: Hello Sleeveheart, I think it takes 48hrs for PayMyTuition to have your payment transmitted to your DLI. As long as PMT receive your payment before the deadline date, it doesn't apply. If possible, you can have the acknowledgement of the payment by PMT sent to your email forwarded to your to the admissions office as heads up. Best of Luck |

I just checked too. It sounds like they are going back to the AIP. But I guess it shouldn’t count for those who have done their biometrics and medical. deommanuel: |

deommanuel: Hello Deommanuel, The information has been there for most. This was the Approval-in-Principal (AIP) processing which once had a September 15th, 2020 deadline. I believe due to the effect of COVID-19 spike, IRCC became lenient with the rules thereby now having the deadline as on or before December 15th, 2020. What this mean is, applicants whose application falls within this timeframe may be getting AIP before the final approval stage. We can still see IRCC leniency with the former International students on expired or soon to expire PGWP who couldn't gather work exprience points enough to apply for PR due to COVID-19. IRCC also gave them January 27th - July 27th, 2021 to apply for a new OWP that would allow them work up to 18 months. The eligible candidates are thise former International students whose PGWP expired on or before January 30th, 2020 or will be expiring 4 months or less to the application date. Cheers! 1 Like |

@awys, see below the response I received to one of the numerous mails I sent. I have been sending mails to anything that ends with international.gc.ca according to the gospel of OtubaTee, the Prophet himself It will end in praise for us all... ======================================= Dear Client, Thank you for your e-mail. We understand that your classes may start in January and you are anxious to have your application finalized, however please be patient and routinely check your online account for updates. Please note that Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs) are continuing to offer all classes online. For the time being, we are expediting decisions for all students with a January intake who have completed all necessary steps (including biometric enrolment and medical examination) and are destined to a designated learning institute with an approved covid-19 readiness plan. Students destined to a DLIs without a COVID-19 readiness plan will not be prioritized at this time, as these students are not exempt from the travel restrictions and will not be able to enter Canada at this time. You can also verify the status of your application through your IRCC secure account to find out if any additional information has being requested. Please continue to follow us on social media for regular updates. Click on our Twitter/Facebook/YouTube links below.
