The soldier who sat before a court-martial in Maiduguri, Borno State capital was arraigned for shooting Lieutenant Ngorgi in July 2020 at close range in Bama Local Government of Borno State for refusing to grant him a welfare pass. If you hadn’t enlisted in the army, would this have happened to you? Thank God you enlisted, cos it’s obvious you lack anger management, therefore you belong not to the civilian society. Only God knows the number of innocent lives you would have wasted. Rip to the deceased you killed & rip to you in advance. I am not rejoicing over your sentence. Four other soldiers arraigned for manslaughter were sentenced to various years of imprisonment. Sergeant Sani Ishaya was sentenced to four years, Bidemi Fabiyi sentenced to two years while Private Musa Bala and Private Abdulraheed Adamu were sentenced to one-year imprisonment. Charged with manslaughter was given one year imprisonment!!! I hate been or sounding tribalistic but giving death sentence to the only South Easterner(he deserves it of he's really guilty) and giving very light sentences to others especially of northern extraction where given very light sentences for manslaughter speaks volume of the kind of injustice in our nation. 126 Likes 7 Shares |

Wow... It's really funny how they were quick to sentence the Ibo guy to death by firing squad I think in a sane country, there should be an appeal... I really don't know much about the law.
