Pls I have been handling my brother's application .
We received the NSE request for ONLY IELTS Dec 22nd and to be submitted Jan 21st .

He didn’t have enough time to study and plan for it . He just checked his result online now and it’s a band of 5.5 score .

Should he upload this band score once he receives the hard copy or write a letter to IRCC to continue his application without the NSE request and give reason for not uploading it .

Pls I need help . I am literally stuck at this point . Been following this thread as a silent reader for my brother .

Thank you

Please house good evening. I have a question, I have been seeing people writing about NSE here, my own response from CIC did not contain NSE. I was just asked to submit and IELTS resulr before 17th feb or they will proceed with denial. Why does mine have that conditional clause when others said submitting is optional? Secondly I have IELTS general and I just wrote Academics on saturday because I wasn't sure which one they needed. Please can someone explain to me pls?

If you have 6.0 band in any1 u can submit..I think because many people have not been submitting the IELTS they're becoming stricter on the submission...just upload any1 that meets their requirement.

It will end in praise...

Hello @JustMellow,

Is it possible to apply for a SOWP from outside Canada without first receiving the actual study permit? Since LOI is what we get from here and the SP is only given at the POE. Please clarify.

It will end in praise for us all...

JustMellow:

Hello Letskeeptalking,

I will just add to my already shared thoughts of my previous response to your post.

I believe what he meant is that putting in a family application may drastically reduce the visa approval chances of the PA. This isn't far from the truth. However, your case is different as you've been approved and already commenced studying.

Your spouse application should be SOWP and the VV for your child.

Best of Luck

I submitted MBS as his sponsor while submitting the application I guess that’s why they didn’t request for it again .

Hi All,
What exchange rate can I use to calculate my expenses for the Visa application process. Bank rate (299) or Black market (385)?

I applied for visa since September. I didn't use the NSE route though. I've done biometrics yet I've not heard from the visa office since then. My school have resumed lectures.

Please guys, what should I do in this situation. I'm just confused

Please do not upload that result.. NSE is optional and not mandatory meaning if you wish your application to be processed under that platform, you uploaded the requested documents otherwise you have to hold on till Jan 21st ao that your application will be processed under tje normal channels meaning currently your application is on paused mode till either the requested documents are submitted/uploaded or you have elapsed the jan21st deadline.

Again having your application processed under NSE has no advantage, before it was said it will be processed under 20days if you submit the requested documents, but 20days plus, people are still waiting.

You can submit either of the two IElTS academic or general as IRCC did not specify. You must have at least 6.0 in all bands. Please upload the NSE letter u got for further review

Good evening,

Please for those who has paid tuition fees from a Nigerian bank in favour of schools in Canada, i need clarification on how you went about it.

I just initiated payment of tuition fees with my bank and also filled the Form A along with transfer instruction form which was filled in favour of the school but payment to be wired to CIBC which is the bank my school advised.

My bank keeps telling me they are awaiting clearance from CBN on dollar payment so as we speak, my account is yet to be debited.

Please is there any other way this can be done as i do not have a dollar account because i have not noticed anyone complain on challenges on payment of tuition fees.

I have a valid visitor's visa and my wife's immediate brother is in Canada as a Permanent Residence. Having applied for authorization to unite with him, IRCC sent a message to fill a form IMM 0006 [Statutory declaration] and sign by a lawyer to declare my relationship with my brother in law.
The form could not be completed by him because there is no space that fits our relationship. Spouse's sibling is there, but sibling spouse isn't there. I am confused on what to do next. My Visa expires in less than two months! Can I risk traveling without authorization letter?

Dear Client,

Thank you for your e-mail.

We understand that your classes may start in January and you are anxious to have your application finalized, however please be patient and routinely check your online account for updates. Please note that Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs) are continuing to offer all classes online. For the time being, we are expediting decisions for all students with a January intake who have completed all necessary steps (including biometric enrolment and medical examination) and are destined to a designated learning institute with an approved covid-19 readiness plan. Students destined to a DLIs without a COVID-19 readiness plan will not be prioritized at this time, as these students are not exempt from the travel restrictions and will not be able to enter Canada at this time.

You can also verify the status of your application through your IRCC secure account to find out if any additional information has being requested.

Please continue to follow us on social media for regular updates. Click on our Twitter/Facebook/YouTube links below.

Hi OtunbaTee, did you receive any application profile update which later disappeared before getting your response? I got something like that yesterday.
Any idea how long it takes to get a response after the ghost update?
