This is good news and I’m really happy for you, congrats

Again, this is to reiterate that ECO are humans too and are prone to making errors.

Christabeliciou:
Hello Able gurus in the house, I want to express my gratitude for your effort and support given to me when I was refused last year November 2020, Some of you advised me to seek reconsideration and review from the ECO that judged me wrongly inputting over £2000 as against my £1000 I planned to spend. Especially @ giselle237 he sent me the complaint email address I want to say thank you a lot.

Visa granted today. First application.

@TheExalted ,@ giselle237 , @omopapa,@ Cyberknight,@ kunzzy4me, @Skymoore1004,@ Brightingsus,,@Justwise.

Thank you everyone God bless you all muah

Boss man,

A friend of mine who is 27 years old lives in Nigeria, but his mother who is about 70 years old travelled to the England when he was just 3 years of age, now that she is old, is there a way that she can send for him to come and take care of her in England considering her age and his age too?.. Is there any England visa law that makes provision for such a case?

Please chairman...
Do you have any idea or know someone who has an idea on this question?.

Good evening people. Pls i seriously need help. I had my interview last year September for EEA family permit and no response till now, so i contacted TLS and they said i should log in thru the email link sent by gov.uk to track my application so that they can send my passport that it's ready, but the problem is that the link in my email from gov.uk it's displaying "Page not found" check website correct". Please what do i do from here as i am seriously confused.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 12:23am On Jan 14, 2021
No idea Sir.
Maybe family visa or settlement visa

https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa

https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas

https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families/eligibility

https://www.gov.uk/family-permit

Check if applicable to you or your friend/friend’s mum

If u entering Uk from Jan 15, 2021 4am and beyond you need covid test. If entering BEFORE the above date and time, then you dont need.

That's what I saw on the UK.gov site.
My worries however, is I hope they are not restricted only to accepting the names test centers on their url..

Check wakanow website but you are uncertain about your travel... (noticed from ur posts) pls so be sure before u purchase with them as change to tickets is not free after purchase.. Once u get a ticket from wakanow or agency and then change your mind about an existing ticket, u will have to pay change fees.

... otherwise u can get a dorm card and buy directly from Turkish airlines or british airways and the likes
The airlines offer free change or so.. anyway everything is spelt out to u in the fare rules and conditions

Thanks for your response. Am now sure of my departure and arrival dates. The reason am asking is because tickets are cheaper on skyscanner.net than wakanow or any other agents I have seen. I won't change any date. Opodo and lastminute.com are under skyscanner.net

Please check those cheap tickets very well(terms and conditions). They often come with some hidden extra charges.

Please can I apply for visa myself or I need an agent to do that? Which link can you send to me please, so that I can start.

You can apply by yourself without an agent. Check the 1st page for links and more details.

Please how often are work visas denied?

A nurse friend is seriously panicking concerning her application as she feels she made some mistakes in her answers.
When she was asked if she knew where she was to stay, she said no. And filled that she intended staying in accommodation provided by her hospital.
This is true because her hospital is providing two months accommodation for her on arrival.

But she feels she should have just said yes and put the hospital address instead.

I'm asking on her behalf because from what I've read most visas are denied because of financial reasons. Could she be denied because of the accommodation issue?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Marytee2: 11:43pm On Jan 14, 2021
I don’t think there should be any issue.
Most hospitals here provide accommodation for their intending nurses and sometimes they even certify maintenance for the applicant. I didn’t submit any personal statement of account and I made little mistakes, still visa was granted. Let your friend keep faith high and be positive. Fingers crossed for her.

Good morning, please I want to be sure my visa application has no issues.
I applied for Tier2 standard visa on 27th November 2020 and had my biometrics on the 30th November 2020. I got a not straightforward message on the 13th working day
Today is the 31st working day. I have also escalated once. Today will make it the 15th working day following escalation and a decision is still yet to be made at the home office.
I have also been tracking it via TLS app and it’s still at the DMC.
I am confused as to either waiting for a reply which I don’t know when it would be or canceling the application. Please I need your advice
