To answer your 2nd question, if you open a dorm account and you fund via transfer, they will pay your deposit back to the dorm account but I haven't tried this before. Because even though I have done deposit via bank transfer, T212 doesn't allow me choose where I want to withdraw to, they always just send to my Nigerian card by default.

My advice is that never be tempted to use a Nigerian card on T212, stick to dorm transfers. Also find out the fees associated with dorm transfers. Do enough research before making final decisions.

I have not used it to fund. But i just got it now and i was able to add it successfully to my Gpay so i know i will be able to fund with it.

As for withdrawal, since it is a dollar card, Trading 212 should transfer dollars then withdrawal on the Barter App would be done at their exchange rate. Deposit on Barter right now is at $1/N475 and withdrawal is at N465.50/$1.

I have not intiated a withdrawal for now.

Hello Guys,
If you are using Wire Transfer to send money to your US broker, you need to be aware of this. I use ChoiceTrade broker and regularly wire dollars to fund my account.
But last week, in a bid to catch up with some stock, I did two wire transfers within two days because I was unable to buy enough dollars the first day.
So I got mail from my broker (ChoiceTrade) asking questions and in addition asking for confirmation letter from my bank which took some days.
But they finally released my money into my account today after nearly one week of writing and getting bank confirmation letter to them.
Lesson: Wire Transfer is heavily monitored in the US, hence not permitted to send or receive multiple transactions within days. Always send one wire transfer at a time regardless of the amount, else it could be termed money laundering.
I have learnt my lesson though in a hard way with lots headache and prayer.
Just tot to share my recent experience and for others to learn.

1. Be sure of your fundamentals and what stock you have purchased. If DD was duly done. HANG-ON.
2. PATIENCE is NEDED. I have made a vow never to sell for a loss unless where there are other QUICK win and no cash.
3. Considering penny stock, honestly it's better to take your small profits and never look back, not minding whatever becomes what you left behind. Remember Lot's wife.

This happens to every one in the market at some point or the other in our trading history.

Snap out from feeling bad, and be proud of yourself that you did a good job identifying the value in this stock ahead of time. That means you can repeat this skill in another stock if you settle down and follow the same process you employed.

You could have also sold at a loss. Therefore, be comforted with the fact that this cannot be more painful than the pain of a loss.

Receive it as a lesson, dust yourself, and move on with the wisdom from this trade that in the end, we are all trading patience, not stocks.

I hope this lifts the spirit.
