These deaths are increasing by the day. This is no longer about Coviid or no covid but the fcat that these deaths are climbing should be a good reason to exhibit caution. May GOD help us. |

We may need at least a 2 week lockdown. The way the numbers are rising all over the world is really scary |

PoliteActivist: Daily recorded deaths. We really don't know the number of people who've been infected and those dying from it in Nigeria. It might be higher but who knows? |

PoliteActivist: There is nothing with being ignorant but what I hate is playing with people's life with your ignorance. And the annoying thing is that you are not ready to learn. However, for the sake of others I will rubbish the foolish stat you put up there. Do you know when the coronavirus was discovered in Nigeria early last year, the country(Abuja and Lagos largely) was shut down for 4 weeks, our airspace was shut down for 4 months and other public institution was shut down for months. While we are shutting down UK and US refused to shut down because they have people like you running their government. They are now bearing the consequences but they can afford to bear it because they are rich. But can Nigeria survive the consequences? 6 Likes |

Seun, it's time to start being socially responsible. This is no longer a joking matter. We can no longer afford to have ignorant people commenting on page 1 to 3. People are dying largely because of their ignorance. 7 Likes |

Verance: Same thing I keep saying. Just enter crowded markets and you'd be able to count number of people with facemasks. If not for the fact that we can live with this virus successfully, na dead bodies for dey litter streets. In those countries with high death rates, they practice social distance, wear face masks daily and wash their hands. None of these is practiced here. We should thank God for our lives o 3 Likes |

luvmijeje: You are very right it's high time Seun starts deleting comments from ignorant people. This is how Trump treated Covid-19 with kid gloves now over 4300 americans died in a day, a few days a go . They think you can joke or lie your way out of a deadly disease like this. How can one sit down and think for some government officials to steal a few billions they have to loose trillions of Naira by shutting down your economy for weeks. Worse still even the educated one will join them to be shouting scamdemic. If this thing should spread, body wey dey catch dem go come down. Pandemics are what you don't joke with. As a matter of fact those figures are highly inaccurate because the number of infections and deaths are way more than that. How many Nigerians care to notify NCDC when they are infected or lose someone to covid-19? 4 Likes |

Tspot: God bless you. It's far higher. There's already community transmission. 3 guys who have Covid-19 came to my office looking for lab who who will give them a negative result simply because they want to travel out. They refuse to isolate. I'm just praying they have not given to me. If people who knew they were positive didn't isolate imagine thousands of people who don't even know they have it. We are all in soup. 5 Likes |

luvmijeje: You can imagine that is how most Nigerians live their lives always looking for an illegal way to achieve their goals. Were they wearing a mask? If you suspect you are at risk of being infected just take the Chloroquine, vitamin c 1000mg , and the rest to prevent it before it happens. Even though we africans seem to have some level of resistance to the disease if the government decides to let normal daily activities go on without any restrictions this thing will still spread and kill a lot of people. |

post=98070635: Lie that what, no covid-19 cases or that it's not high? Probably you mean they are under reporting the case cos the rate of infection seems higher. If you doubt just go to any big government hospital or other big ones and see the manifestation of the virus. Please observe the protocol and stay healthy. 1 Like |
Opoooooooor!! We really need to shut the country down, this is not a drill, Corona virus is real and it's spreading even more than the first wave. Federal government should impose a month lock down and increase test to the help curb the virus before it go out of hands..Okay ooo[Hmmm even republican states in America with high cases are not being shut down] |

Some Nigeria don't use facemask to be protected, they use it to boycott harassment from government.. Some people will not even wash the facemask for weeks and you see them using that hand to touch good in the market.. I felt disgusted seeing those dirty facemask on people faces all in the name of use facemask, use facemask.. |

Neddstark: Trust me, no one can pay me to say i am/was sick with covid. I v got a conscience!! Anybody can disbelieve the existence of Covid at their own peril. A word is enough for the ... There you have it: I have never doubted the existence of Covid and even believe we have more cases in Nigeria than what the authorities display ("LiveScore" as some of you would say) Post March, i took necessary precautions to prevent myself against the virus however, after lockdown, i resumed shaking hands, no social distancing and contact sport (Football). Boom! December 20th after my positive result I took life more seriously. Symptoms (I have had my share bouts of Malaria in life being AA and 0+, but I've never felt this sick in my life. No one can tell me i had malaria!!): + Intense Body weakness + Cough + Headache + Body/Joint pains (i'm told due to blood clotting) + Scariest of all (at least for me): I could not taste or smell for 6days! This has never happened in my entire life; no matter the kind of flu I've had. Do you know that feeling when you have your toothbrush in your mouth and cant even taste the minty paste? I guess you won't know! Eating Christmas rice and pepper soup, I couldn't taste Sh***t! I was only eating to avoid starvation and not to savour the taste I couldn't smell anything as well. My bathing soap, perfume (which is very strong), food, my car airfreshner (which is very strong as well). + No shortness of breathe as some patients have said identified though. I always watched out for this because this is usually a red flag for crises. I googled and researched alot. I used ginger and Garlic for everything going into me this period which i believe was what helped me. Vitamin C and B as well. My luck is that I stay alone and have worked from home since June so my self isolation and keeping away from others were very easy. December 31st was the very 1st time i tasted anything. Ketchup and fish! I was excited as if I had received a kind of miracleous healing. Smell returned gradually and I got better and stronger. As at today, I haven't had any symptoms and believe I'm healed. I cannot do a test to be very sure I'm healed now (its almost 50k and I'm still recovering from heavy rent and december spending). I'm still staying away from ppl though. I Believe i contacted if drom a church i attended at Acme road. During mid December, they had a Carol where everyone mixed and danced. I was told 90% or choir members that were tested were positive (i interacted with them). Till now, all the choir members have been told to stay home and not come to church. Who has ears should hear! Especially those of you with underlying illnesses. Thank God I'm a pretty healthy fella as i do lots of Footballing at weekends. I stop my loooooooooong narrative here! 2 Likes 1 Share |
