[Thank you. No drivers license yet quote author=bLacKGoLd3 post=98035058]Just look for an Enterprise Rental (or your preferred car rental) closeby and rent a car - shouldn't cost you more than $15 in gas traveling to/fro. If you still insist on traveling by train, locate a GO Station closest to you and take the first leg to Union Station, then ask around for the next GO Train heading out there. Again, if you have a valid driver's license, I would advise you to drive. And don't rent a BMW, lest you be tempted by the spirits of 401 [/quote] |

Sure, can do here too. Before venturing into IT, Pharmacy has always been what I wanted to do. Been trying to get into U of T for 3 consecutive years till I finally got in the third time. Why did I go into it? Well, let's just say almost all my work experiences have been in pharmaceuticals and pharmacy related fields, I love the patient centeredness ( very stressful I must confess), the knowledge, would have loved to say the money too but obviously there is more money in IT, but looking at the business side of things as well too, there is a lot of money in Pharma. Given the IT experience I have had, coupled with the freedom I enjoyed with it ( working remotely), might consider IT related line in Pharmacy at a long run( Pharmacy informatics). Hope that helps. zendaya45: 2 Likes |

It's always best to arrive at your DLI at most a month to your resumption. 5 months is too far apart and you are most likely to be turned back at the POE {You don't have Enrollment Letter!}. Try and travel in August {My opinion} akinajibola: 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Hello seniors, Please I want you to clear some concerns we have about POF. We are using a gift deed from my mum plus some money in wifey's account. My mum will send the money to me & do a gift deed for me. Wifey is the PA. Are we okay if we submit the ffg docs: 1. Gift deed 2. A simple letter (from me) that she has access to the money 3. One week or One month SA from me (accompanying spouse) to reflect the transfer 4. Transfer receipt 5. Wifey's 6 months statement of account 6. Wifey's Bank reference letter I don't know if I need to get my Bank reference letter too? How long (2or 3 days ) does the money need to be in my account before I collect my statement of account? Thanks so much as you assist. |

Everyone take note!!! There’s a blind bat on this thread that flies from one thread to another to derail the thread. Don’t give him the needed attention becasue that’s what he feeds on. He sold his destiny for a sachet of power oil. When he writes, you’d know he has no opinion to share but he is seeking attention. I refused to quote him because he is not worth my time. 1 Like |

Parents of Ontario secondary students can now apply for a one-time $200 payment per child to help offset education costs during the pandemic. Premier Doug Ford announced in December that parents of secondary students would be able to apply for the payment between Jan. 11 and Feb. 8. Parents who want to apply for the payment can do so on the government's Support for Learner's website. The government said the money will be deposited directly into parents' bank accounts approximately two weeks after their application is approved. The payment for parents of secondary students will be available for those with children aged 13 through to Grade 12. The financial support is available regardless of whether students attend a public school, private school or are homeschooled. https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/mobile/parents-of-ontario-secondary-students-can-now-apply-for-their-200-payment-here-s-how-1.5262016 2 Likes 1 Share |

Good morning folks, can a family of 3 quarantine in one room? This question is for families that recently landed in Canada? Will the idea of 3 of us in one room not be rejected? Kindly share your opinions. Thanks in advance |

Good day friends, I need advice I am planing to migrate to Canada. Since I needed a guide, I met someone ( an agent) who was recommended to me by a good friend of mine. My firiend is processing his visit to the UK with this agent too. When I met him for the easiest and quickest way for me, he advise me to go through work - since I am a graduate and a sound tradesman in industrial electrical work. He said the work package is geniune, that it was the Canadian government who made it available for people with good skills to move to Canada. I do not know how true this is. And I would like to verify his words here so that I do not end up being deceived or cajoled into spending so much and at the end there was nothing like that. Please how true is this Canadian work package ? |
