The time limit has been removed. Every refusal now has to be declared, whether it happened within the past 10 years or before.

No but you can fill in a dummy application to see for yourself.

Same shoes. I had my first refusal in 2008. Subsequent ones in 2012 & 2013.. I can’t remember the exact months as well.

Don’t use the online appplication except you have someone in the uk as you will be needing a UK address. Send them a mail and you will be prompted on what to do.

It’s pretty straight forward.

It's better to know what information the UKVI holds about you so that you don't contradict yourself since you don't remember the information you filled in your previous application.

Just write what year you think it is.
There’s an explanation box there for reason for refusal... elaborate that u can’t remember the specifics however this and this is what u remember. Finish.

Requesting any information might delay you further if you are restricted by time and want to apply for ur student visa asap. Declare what u can remember. They just want to know you are honest...

There are lots of school offering masters in Data science/Analysis, but the fastest way to get the skill set is self study; you can register for online courses on udemy ($10-$13), edx, freecodecamp (I love this cos its very practice oriented and you will get to do projects and build your github profile and its free) etc. So while you do the masters, run one of these programs or more, also learn python or R.

I actually found one of the applications made in November 2020 and I've attached the part of the form that talks about it with the person's personal details blurred.
Note that for visas granted and travels made, it's for the last 10 years but but refusals or any immigration issues, there's no time limit.

Just asking: I received my transcript now and there is no DOB on it. Is this normal? tot I heard people say there is always dob on their transcript.

NB: when I applied for it to be sent to me, they declined until I later told them it was for employment purpose before they agreed to send it to my office.

Fair enough.

I was surprised because I saw nothing of such when I was filling my application last year plus i read it in one of the ukvi guidance about declaring refusals and criminal convictions.

Today makes it 21 working days my biometrics was done and i got this email last night in my inbox after contacting them twice. “Thank you for the information you have provided.we escalated your case to the relevant department.you should be contacted regarding your case within 15 working days from the date of escalation.your patience is highly appreciated”. Please has anyone experienced this before.Gurus in the house please come to my aid.my school resumes next week

Yes it is normal... It's the Next stage that takes time but if it's priority application, you should get your decision mail by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Answering just number 2, you don’t need to link a card to your Paga, just fund your Paga wallet and pay for your IHS and visa fee
