What these people ought to do is make NIN registration available in hospitals , so as a child is birthed, he gets registered. But no way. They’ll say until he gets to 18 years. Olodo old fools calling themselves leaders. What’s so difficult in making this registration an online thing and you get what you want from the comfort of anywhere you are.

We need data.. Atleast if everybody has their NIN, then we can talk about linking them togethe with other ID's... Moreover, with NIN it would be easer to generate basic datas for further registration..

When you did your BVN and your biometrics was taken a NIN was automatically created for you linked to that BVN. That was during the period we had a thinking government with some few intellects in government. If you have a GTBank account, log into Internet banking or download the mobile app and you will see your NIN just below your BVN.

Just leave those idiots, they don't know what they are saying. My NIN was BVN generated. I did not do NIN registration at any NIMC CENTER. I have my NIN number, I use the NIN number to register my details on the NIMC APP and my DIGITAL ID is displayed. I have used the NIMC APP to register my validate my 3 numbers. I verified my details and printed out my digital ID on checkmypeople. com with the BVN generated NIN. Those fools don't know what they are saying.

What's funny is I registered since like 2004. I still have the old ID card. I remember they took my fingerprints using paper. Lol. I'm actually not surprise I don't have NIN.

Anyway, I'm not going to stress myself like I did during the BVN registration. You can ask yourself how that went.

If the government like let them disconnect my phone lines, the real issue is whether the telecoms company are ready to lose that much subscribers given this new directive.
