B2MARIO, though imo state is useless, but I am yet to see a state that's worse than Abia your state. Abia state is more or less a dead state, but dirty Aba miscreants like B2MARIO still get mouth. See the condition of Aba. Who actually cursed Abia state? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQI5oUxJzQI 1 Like |

huncho22: Guy please don't go that area. Is like you are new on nairaland. All the monikers you have been quoting are one person. He will still open another one bearing imo and attack you. Someone from Abia state can not be tarnishing Abia state the way he did using the his Abia moniker. Just face him and the Anambra people that have failed to caution him. |

huncho22: Why would Owerri be the fastest developing state capital in the East? Industries and government tertiary education institutions in a place are the greatest inducers of rapid development and urban expansion in the place. There’s hardly any one industry in Owerri which attracts population to Owerri. Simple truth: development of Owerri is due to Owerri people seizing all institutions of government that should have been spread to the three senatorial districts in Imo state for only Owerri senatorial district during military administration. |

ABlAstate:Owerri must not derive its GDP from industry.. Owrri doesn't need to have industrial area... Left for me, I will pefer industrial areas are taken far from Owerri.. to avoid pollution and noise... Owerri just need a CDB and a very good touriist attroactions.. With that they are good to go.. Owerri Amaka.. Owerri Rising... Oweeri, the balles choice........... 1 Like |

ABlAstate: Ignorant village man, Imo State is the 5th biggest state in Nigeria in terms of GDP! That was even before the refinery was built, and by the time the massive gas and petrochemical plants take off, Imo State will become the 4th!! Imo State airport records the 4th highest number passengers in Nigeria, after Lagos, Abuja and P.H. If the state is not viable and developing, it wouldn't be so!! Owerri is the fastest growing city in the East, and among the fastest in Nigeria! It has been growing at almost 40,000 people per annum!! In terms of property development, Owerri has a fast growing property sector that is only second to Abuja in Nigeria! If the city is now thriving, it won't be so!! The only setback affecting Owerri is mediocre government that is performing below par. If we can have good roads and covered drains, Owerri would be competing with Abuja now. 2 Likes
