Tojeruky, a GCMS note tells you the perspective of the officer that reviewed your application. It’s mostly for those who have been refused or want to know the status of their application. If you are a first time applicant you don’t need it but if you have been refused a SP, it’s advisable to get it before reapplying. tojeruky: 1 Like |

Hi All, I recently got admitted into Humber college for fall 2021 session. I’m currently gathering my documents for visa application and I plan to submit by early February but I was wondering/considering if paying the tuition now (9000+ CAD) and include the tuition payment receipt in my visa application would put me in a good chance of getting my visa approved. Does paying tuition in full before submitting visa application visa have any additional benefit? Please advice. Thanks |

Please oooo, what is going on?! I applied for the study permit since November, and they responded in December 8, that I should provide mybankstatement and IELTS, and if I didn’t submit after 30 days they would proceed the normal way. January 8 expired the 30days ultimatum, but whenever I check my profile on the immigration platform, the status is still showing “your action is required”....and it has been like that since that time they asked for IELTS...is this normal? Who is also in this same shoes abeg, I don’t know what to do. |

Akupuncture:Please sir, did you use NSE route (mybank statement) or normal statement of account. I am asking for a case of someone who has $10,000 + tuition fees, but does not have up to $30,000 for NSE route. Can such person still submit the mybankstatement? (Please anyone can chip in) Thanks in advance. |

You are not alone on this. There are a couple of people here with the same issue and I am also one of them. You can also raise webforms and send mails to them about it like I did. I got a response saying my application is under review but I can’t say if it’s a generic response. Mine has been like that since the expiration of the NSE period on December 26. mictaby: |

Good morning, Is having a fixed deposit of #5million enough as proof of funds Also, who knows if Memorial University offers Master in Educational Leadership studies as on campus program rather than online, I've checked the website but story too much, and hope the school is not a red flag? Lastly, I have my first degree in Education but presently working in a bank, but planned to apply for a Master in Educational Leadership. Won't that be an issue with VO or I must go for business/Finance related course. Please help me oooooooo |

Ckechi: What a great IELTS score to becoming a Permanent Resident of Canada. If i may ask, Do you've two or more degrees and working experience in any particular NOC? You can check your current CRS score to know if you qualify for the Express Entry Program. You can even be in the EE pool at same time pursuing your study permit. PR is much more better to study permit because you will have to pay lesser for tuition fees and medical insurance is available for free. It will end in praise. 2 Likes |

Deohlarh20: Congratulations Esther on the approval of your study permit application. My sincere apologies for the delayed feedback from my email. I'll respond soon. As per your enquiry, have you contacted IOM to be sure if there is any available space for you this January. Please be aware that your medical request in no way affect your passport request. Be proactive, check with IOM. Keep me posted. It will end in praise. |

akinajibola: The link i shared is for Permanent Resident/Canadian Citizens to sponsor their spouse to become a permanent resident of Canada. The program is called Spousal Sponsorship. Since you've a valid study permit, you need to file for a Spousal Open Work Permit (SOWP) for your spouse to come to Canada. You can submit your application via the online route. It will end in praise. |

Maccollins21: I regret to hear your study visa application was refused by the immigration of Canada. Having reviewed your profile in its entirety and the supporting documents included in your last application, I can deduct that there is no progression in your academics, hence the visa officer's concerns on the basis of your purpose of visit to Canada. Why will a computer Engineering graduate be opting for a post graduate certificate in project management?.. This demonstrate to the immigration officer that you're using study permit as a means to facilitate entry into Canada rather than educational advancement. Please get me your GCMS notes and do well to share it on this platform so others can share their opinions. It will end in praise 1 Like |

Damidolly: Five Million is not sufficient for a Canadian Education as you would be required to show evidence of 10,000CAD for your living expenses. Educational Leadership is offered by University of Regina. Please check it out. It will be reasonable if you apply for a program that is in tandem with your current employment i.e if you've been in the banking industry for quite a long period of time. It will end in praise |
