Spy360:The club will pay off part of his remaining contract while he goes to Fernabahce |

kokanepyramid: He was scheduled to earn 7M over the next 6 months but he is forgoing a portion of that so he can become a free agent and move to Turkey. |

kokanepyramid:Yes They came to mutual agreement, he will sign full contract with fenebache |

kokanepyramid:Wrong Arsenal ain't willing to pay him off, they prefer he stays do nothing and earn, but they both agreed on termination now |

Roland17:That’s what I’m trying to tell Sod09, it’s a win win for both sides. The free agent would make Arsenal unable to sell him for a fee despite still having a contract, this puts him in a better wage negotiation with his next club. This was similar to what United did with Sanchez But the stingy board wanted to eat their cake and have it. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Spy360(m): 5:22pm On Jan 16, 2021 |
Roland17:But the club could argue that his off the pitch behavior or attitude, actions and comments may have affected the club businesswise and led to potential loss of revenue. This is law and it's an asss. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Nobody: 5:31pm On Jan 16, 2021 |
sod09:No, they are paying part of it while he goes for free, that’s the mutual agreement |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Spy360(m): 5:33pm On Jan 16, 2021 |
kokanepyramid:That's what I am saying. Ozil had wanted Arsenal to agree the 7m be spread over 2years to convince him move to Turkey. But when Arsenal threatened legal action he was forced to agree to a termination. Roland17 makes it sound like Ozil proposed the termination but it was actually Arsenal board. Don't get me wrong, I like Ozil and felt it was a waste not playing him (I don't give a damn about politics and religion) by the board, but when it comes to deciding who was right and wrong, the fault is from both sides. |

Spy360:In one post you said you’ll be cautious until full story comes out. In same post you said you are aware and was at the table where they threatened him with legal action as you provided no source to your imagination. Lastly how would he want Arsenal and Fernabahce to share his wages for 2 years when his contract expires this summer. Did he go to the negotiation table with a gun? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Spy360:Don’t write this legal threat thing again without a source to back it. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Roland17(m): 6:03pm On Jan 16, 2021 |
Spy360: Nwanne what are you talking? What legal action? I challenge you or anyone to provide any credible source that Ozil was threatened with a lawsuit. There are terms to the contract, show me the one Ozil broke. You are basically insinuating Ozil was forced to accept this termination? That he did this under duress? Let me assure you that none of that happened. Infact that would be grounds for him to sue Arsenal sef. Ozil is the reason this deal happened! If Ozil did not agree and there was no buyer to take the responsibility of the wage then there is absolutely nothing we could have done. We are lucky he chose to forgo portions of the 7M. You are doing the same thing Arsenal did to Ozil, underestimate him and he needed to prove something which he did. |

There's something wrong with this club, we sold Martinez and got runnarson then we loaned out macey. Now we looking for another keeper, these fvckers don't know how to pick priority, if macey wasn't good sell him off instead of accumulating deadwoods |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by BlueRayDick: 4:51pm On Jan 17, 2021 |
sod09: We didn't sell Martinez out of choice, he wasn't ready to continue being second choice and had to go. It's that simple. .....It is only normal to replace him ; whether Runnarson was a good choice or not is another story entirely. I know u prefer Martinez in goal to Leno, but they are both great keepers and the club chose Leno. |

Arteta's stubbornness will not make him follow my advice. Anyway this is the team he needs to beat Newcastle today... Martinelli..... Lacazette....... Saka ................... Smith-Rowe ............. ........... Xhaka........... Partey......... Tierney... Gabriel... Luiz.... Bellerin ........................ Leno....................... Subs: GK, Holding, AMN, Elneny*, Ceballos, Pepe, Willian*, Aubameyang*, Nketiah *most likely /expected Luiz brings more experience and stability than Holding and I think Holding needs a break too. Tierney just has to play and I hope he's okay. Time to get Partey in the mix. Xhaka was brilliant in the last game, I think he deserves another run out before taking a needed rest. Lacazette has been our best CF this season. His renewed form should earn him more starting spots invthe centre. |

It will be refreshing seeing Partey once again starting a match

Jodera:This was what I was trying to say that guys misquoted to meaning I’m scapegoating Gabriel. If we had added the money budgeted for AM say 50M to the money spent on Gabu. That would give us over 70K We would have gotten a prolific AM in the market with that and we would be fine. |
