Been feeling bad since yesterday. Held unto Gamestop for 6 months awaiting a short squeeze. Entered at $6, sold at $10, re-entered at $13 two months ago, sold three days ago at $18.11 and boom the squeeze started after selling. Currently at $40 in just 2 days and it has been hell for me because I missed out!

Any advice?

I have been having difficulty registering with T212 cos I don't have international passport.
Now I'm trying to get somebody I know in the UK to register on T212 with her own account and I will be trading with it from here(Nigeria).
I just want know if it's a good idea or not.

Go and get an international passport my friend

Getting a passport is not rocket science and you can process one for a fraction of what you want to invest with. Internet never forgets and your integrity will be at stake forever.

She is opening the account for herself not for me. All I will be doing is trading with it. Is there any clause that stipulates that the owner of the account must be the one trading with it. Thanks.

Well.. If the person will come and do capturing for you at home and you'll get the passport the next day, you can pay 60k for it.

If not, Nigerian International passport is 25k if you go through the normal process. You can check the NL thread below.

This stock was on fire last year. It is very volatile though. But like Tesla, I believe it is one of those disruptor stocks that come about once in a while. I bought and held 100 shares for one day. Made $600 and quickly sold. Stil have just 5 shares. I plan to buy the dips and ride the wave for now. The broker I use only charge no fees to trade stocks.

I could not withdraw from forex because I could not control the greed of over leveraging which led to blowing of my account all the time. Lol

The implications are heavy. While u are trading with her account in Nigeria, she would be paying capital gain tax or even business tax depending on your trades limits and gains. It will further affect her yearly household income, meaning that if she has kids who receive child benefit, the amount could be reduced because of the gains u are making on stock, if she is on certain benefit, it could be stopped or slash down. I live in canada and the samething is affecting me because u pay huge amount on capital gain if u hold the stock for one yr before selling or business income if u are an active day trader. I will advice u to use bamboo or trove.

Please can anyone tell me how to deposit funds in Trading212 app with a GTB Naira Mastercard? I have been having difficulties with this. If I have to go through Google Pay, can someone explain how to go about it?

Happy to join this train. I have read the first 10 pages, and I have read from 211 to this current page. I am still planing to read atleast the first 30 pages and also read from page 150 to 210 in other to have a good grasp of stock trading.
