My Class toppers are doing very good.

One is an Associate Director with a finance company in Canada...earning like 110 Us dollars a year.

Another is a very big boy with Central Bank in Abuja.

I was in the top 1 to 3 always and i am grateful for all i have and what lies ahead.

Interestingly the ones that did not shine in primary school also have become medical doctors, astro physicist and i am happy for them.

At the end of the day, the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong but time and chance decides.

I'm a class topper both at polytechnic and university levels, I mean best graduating overall and faculty best respectively. I have never seen an unintelligent class topper.
I went back to business on the streets after graduation competing with those who have been on ground for years and have been doing excellently well.
Academic excellence has reflected in everything I do and touch,I have made millions on the streets with the help of my academic prowess,hardwork, strong will, determination, grace and resilience.
I don't drive a nice car but I'm a big earner.

She was not only brilliant but pretty. I didn't know she had died years back till I met her bro one day by chance and I asked after her and I got the devastated news of her demise .

Oh life !!! I got home and I lost focus , I kept reminiscing a lot about life. Such brilliance, such magnetic brain she made us felt like we had no brain.

Whenever her soul is, may she keep resting in peace. I wept for you my dear friend, like candle in the wind, you were cut short unexpectedly.

I was top of my class all through primary school. Secondary school was a disaster. I practically tanked. Picked myself up in uni and graduated with the third highest cgpa in my set.

Career wise, I am not doing badly. I am comfortable, but it could be better, a whole lot better actually.

Poor is relative....and that is your opinion. It is what it means to him that matters. His one year earnings can take good care of 5 years of bills...that one is a fact.

At times school will frustrate you ,I nearly commit suicide during my University days due to missing scripts and carry over in Madonna university ,I spent 8yrs instead of 5 yrs ,I was depressed but never gave up ,no job and I enter street being a sienna driver ,I used that driving to marry , buy 2 cars ,paying my rent ,I have left sienna driving and enter cab and I rent cars too..... use your head and grab opportunity where it's necessary ,cab pays more than office job .... call me driver and pay me my money

Mine, I was the the class topper in primary school. I mean the overall best. Onto Junior sec. school I was the best as well. At senior sec, I was among the top 3 in my class. Never knew the exact position cos they don't grade positions at my senior secondary.

On to University, hell, I have spent more than eight years now still couldn't graduate. Finance, acquisitions, I don't even a full grown chicken to my name. Just managing life.

Lol, I know I'll be an example to many of my former classmates. They'll be like 'look at so, so (Jusatboyy) he still hasn't graduated life is not by academic grades' bla, bla...........

Some of them are married with kids, some medical doctors, some pharmacist, engineers, busineessmen/women.

Some people comes from a faulty foundation and some the foundation are good.

I topped my class and I am doing fairly OK. Although ,there are many of my classmates with lesser class of degree that are doing better than I. Eg. I have a friend that got a third-class but got a job in Chevron(Probably Know-person assisted thang). Even those with 2-2 ,working with the FG are now big Boyz/ladies ,travelling anyhow when necessary and conveniently . Everything na GOD!

They can memorize 100 pages of book,they speak Queen English but they are not intelligent.they don't know how to solve real life problems, they are only good at memorizing things....

If you are brilliant, there is high possibility of being intelligent too. But you could be intelligent and not brilliant. Don't get it twisted.
There are different factors responsible for many brilliant students not doing well in real life. You don't know the kind of challenges they might have passed through after you all separated. You don't know the kind of mistakes they might have made along the line. Life is complex, success and failure are not always about being brilliant or intelligent

Don’t get it twisted your suffering is not a ticket to some grand happiness later in life, the sooner you accept this fact of life the better for you. You are suffering cuz you made some wrong choices, or your intellect/resources/ are under some kind of limition which in turn limits your opportunities.

Haven said all that you better double your hustle, don’t have delusions that grandeur would come after your wasted years because you have suffered. The only grandeur that would find you is that which you worked for .

Hard facts, basic truth.
First position from primary one to six, always collecting prizes. Topper through out the secondary school. Topper in the Uni, first year. Then dropped to second highest CGPA when a direct student joined our class.

My first mistake: spent many years writing UME and rejecting admissions because they didn't give me the course I wanted.
After graduation, civil defence job I got slipped through my fingers, America visa lottery won by my wife slipped through my fingers, Dangote job terminated just after 5 months. Lol.
I had to constantly think hard and figure a way out of the seemingly hopelessness. I embraced entrepreneurship, solved the issue of capital by exploiting the only choice: loan. It paid off. My loan as at today stands at 3.4 million naira

At least 100 million. The doctor and engineer guys stayed single, live very frugal lives and invested a lot in property, stocks and mutual funds. It is interesting how much these assets appreciate over 4-6 years of disciplined investment.
