They were so desperate to seize power from Jonathan eventhough they never had a plan of governance in place just incase they won.

Cluelessness personified undecided

Only if FG would be transparent on how to spend the money.

Still better for FG to get the loan from the dormant accounts than allowing those crooked bankers to be using it anyhow.

This is just appalling, the government that has introduced all form of taxes and we didn't see the result want to borrow money from dormant account

You deposit money you pay tax, you withdraw money you pay tax and you are with this appalling comments, its either you living in an alternate reality....

Guess they will start auctioning their citizens in the next case since the financial crunch is biting them this hard.
This is what cluelessness, incompetency or lack of a feasible economic blueprints can cost a nation.

The real motivation behind this style of government is wickedness.

I have never heard of any administration in the world who is as callous as Buhari led administration. You stole all our resources, mortgage the future of the unborn Nigerians and now this?

It's no longer white man that stole your resources. The Nigerians themselves are even more callous than whoever in Nigerias leadership.

Questions arising from this dormant account brouhaha.

Who is representing the interest of the investors whose dividends will be borrowed?
What are the terms and conditions of the borrowing and who negotiated them?
How will the borrower pay back principal and interest?

Remember that some may have dormant accounts resulting from being sent out for a period on official assignments or have travelled for studies, etc.
They return to the country to discover that their entire savings have been cleared via ‘FGN borrowing from dormant accounts.’
What will such persons do to continue their lives?

These are some of the questions we need answers to before this can move on.
We need all the transparency in this transactions.
This is the CHANGE we voted for, no more business as usual,
knowing that the evil and looting party would have just carry on through the backdoor stealing citizens money and looting it to their account without minding whose ox is gored.

On a lighter note,
$850 BILLION Naira wey some people no dey use again.... some for many many years?!
Money dey where e dey for dis country abeg!

Dear Nigerians we should fight this with all we have. Government (1) takes Tax from us. (2) increased electricity bill (3) increased price of fuel... E.t.c during this pandemic period. While other countries try to look for a way to soften the impact of the pandemic on their citizens, ours is trying to starve us all so they can recover the money wasted on "End Sara protest". How many northerns have bank accounts ?? Why now in this period of hardship??

Some people dey Yankee like this
U can keep making deposits into the account every 6month or 1year even if na just 2k. Even if u don't withdraw, , it cant get DORMANT. Even banks take money from account that have money and not active for many years. I am talking with deep understanding of the banking system. So many dead people whose family are finding it hard to survive have unclaimed millions in banks which the banks claim after so many years of observing the account.

Put money for house buhari bandits would come and rob it.

Put it in the bank buhari himself would go and rob it.

All kind of tarrifs have been placed to deposit, transfer and cash out yet it's not enough for them

Electricity prepaid cards have gone up (it doesn't last again)

Data has gone up (it doesn't last again)

Transportation fares have gone up

Rice has gone up

Fuel has gone up

Universities just coming from months strike (no certainty on what next )

Cable Subscription has gone up

Dollar rate against naira has gone up

All these tarrifs and yet excessive borrowing and nothing to show for it

Boko Haram, Bandits, Fulani Herdsmen are on an all time high

Government Nepotism at an all time high

People can't go to the farm for fear of Herdsmen

People can't travel useless roads for fear of getting kidnapped by bandits

Yet some are still supporting this government like they are not affected, you speak they shit blame on government behalf

You just said it all. this is just a clueless and wicked administration.

Which will be looted again

This is official money laundry

Money of those dormant account contain "trapped" money, the would just use their "Presidency" power and move the money to fund their contract then put it back safely in their main account

This government is bent on running Nigeria and her citizens aground!

So it's the citizens that will now contribute their toro and Kobo to the insensitive govt for them to run the economy?

They started by mandating all banks for quarterly dormant account reports renditions, from there ,they were able to capture clients details alongside their balances.

Little did we know they had everything planned out as to how they are gonna steal the docile funds.

This advice must have come from bourdilon, just same way they milk Lagos residents!

Awon omo ale!
