Hmmm a bold and attack minded formation but i just don't trust Pogba in that position in terms of his defensive responsibility. Shaw might get isolated against Salah and TAA.
Also Martial is a fitness doubt i believe.

Pogba plays as the CM while McTom plays as RDM to protect AWB and Fred as the LDM to protect Shaw...In attack, Rashford attacks from the left to keep TAA on his toes whilst Martial/Greenwood plays through the middle...

Another interesting option will be to introduce Matic in place of Martial if he can't make it to completely lock the wings and middle whilst Pogba and Bruno are given the freedom to roam and wreck havoc with Rashford up front alone...

I'd love to see our strikers making runs in between the fullback and CB like Vardy...

Due to Pogba’s current form, I reckon Ole will use a 4-4-2 Diamond formation, as opposed to his preferred 3-5-2 when facing teams that stretch the width.

I am not anticipating a good result to be honest. We tend to struggle whenever the fans are optimistic and there is a bottling property in this team at the moment which explains the multiple SF losses.

I will happily take a draw TBH. I will not lie, I am not confident going into this match at all. I honestly don’t know where some fans are getting their confidence from.

Our nack for bottling important matches coupled with Liverpool’s form at Anfield is enough to make me not want to watch this match I swear.

It will be a battle mostly fought in midfield. Ole's 4-4-2 diamond formation would be best equipped to handle the Liverpool midfield trio and would bring out the best in Pogba, while giving bruno a bit more freedom to express himself.
