When Baily plays at the back, he doesn’t clear all ball to throw ins like Lindelof under pressure. He turns some play to attack, and he can slide tackle and block short. He allows us play better from d back.

I don’t think favoritism has anything to do with Lindelof starting. Lindelof’s long passes behind the opponent’s defence may be key to unlocking Liverpool’s defence since Liverpool will keep a high line.

Lindelof is not a bad defender but we need to get our partnership right at the back.
I prefer two quick guys at the back but what we have for now can accommodate two fast, one quick/one slow, or two slow.
I find it appalling Ole is bent on settling with the two slow CB partnership.
