The UK is one of the least corrupt nations on earth, it has great educational system, it's crime level is way below ours and it continues to product global innovators and leaders. We have flogged or kids for 100 of years how did it help us get better?

I never posted that foster care is the best option for a child because I recognise the abuse children go through in the system, I merely referred to what was written in the original post.

I know am going to work with kids like the Doctor's son as I am heading there in a couple of months to pursue my specialty in Clinical Child Psychology and in the future may be involved in assessments and providing psychosupport for kids in the foster care system.
