Question 4: It happens; She is carrying mother of two great Nations. Ensure she doesn't stress herself and take enough rest. And make her see a doctor if the pain persists.

For the terminologies, I'm not so sure. But I think BA is Birth Alert and BS is Birth Story.

I've been ruminating on your answer to question 2 wherein you quote Bible verse. I think my question was misinterpreted.

In my question, I was trying to validate the reliability of scan to determine baby sex. This is because I've heard how pple say the scan result showed female even up to the 2days of delivery but would later be otherwise after delivery.

So my question was that, Is scan result 100% authentic to rely on. My wife suggest we go to a specialised lab to carry out the scan.

Please don't mind us o, we're first time parent-to-be so we're really anticipating.

We're in the same shoe.
Going in for my 3rd cs as well and it's elective.

First was emergency.
Second was elective/emergency, lol. If something like that exists.

For the second, I felt some tightening the previous day and since I was told to keep an open mind either to cs or vaginal birth, I told the doc to check me on my next appointment. She did, and said I was 2cm dilated and wouldn't be allowed to go home.

Whilst on admission, I still didn't fall into active labour until night.
Another doc on her shift adviced that I could choose to keep waiting for labour or I get wheeled into the theatre since the time interval between then and the 1st cs was just 14 instead of 18 months.

So, we signed the consent form for cs and Alhamdulilah, we remain glad we did.

So ma'am, it isn't still a big deal as the previous you've had. Sure, you might get scared as the days get closer but please, keep an open mind and pray, pray, pray.
May we all come out with our babies victorious.

@Cappo Sugah, Pls o I never see road send in BS o. Been swamped with so much activities. Just Hubz n I doing omugwo by ourselves! Life just got real! Lol!...First time was a ride. Had everyone dotting on me for 3 frigging months! But now we running around by ourselves with a very active toddler who thinks the new baby is a toy .

Thank you so much mama! Your encouragement definitely went a long way through the journey. I can relate with being swamped by the way....I have my mum doting on me, still its not easy breastfeeding on demand and also making prep for naming. Praying for strength for you and your hubs!

Scan report/interpretation has alot to do with experience of the sonographer and how recent his machine is.

It's expected to be scared of C/s but believe me I prefer it to vaginal delivery because you can predict the outcome esp with spinal anaesthesia . The only issue with C/s is pain management post op. Which medications can take care of. Make your hair, nails, look sharp ask oga to shave you himself, both of you should go for the admission a night before[he can take a day or two off work]. Have quality conversations and in few mins intraop you are done

From little experience, standard scan results are authentic when it comes to gender of the baby. Before delivery, you must have done minimum of three scans and if they all showed the gender to be the same; that's it!

The only variables in scan result is the EDD. The gender is authentic.

However, as stated earlier, I believe in Miracles and I know Miracles still happen.
