OP that's the truth in a nutshell.

If you are not good at getting back up whenever circumstances knocks you down, you will never be a successful entrepreneur.

No it is not worth it.

Matt 6:33
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

Dedicate your life to God. Learn Forex trading if you want to take part in it. Forex does not guarantee success and peace.

What do you mean it is not worth it?

Forex is the biggest liquid financial market in the world. It's potential is limitless

If you know how to trade profitably, you can create a stream of income that can change your life And the best part is you don't have to leave the comfort of your home

IT IS WORTH IT

Entrepreneurs get levels based on perspective of intent.

Someone might aim to provide a service or bunch of services, pay tax, and have a profit. That profit after the capital and operating cost are factored in, is the result number of gain or loss.

Before now, I been dey call entrepreneurs bosses. From Akara seller, suya seller, computer village sellers, shop seller, generator repair person, vulcanizer, mechanic, all the way to cell phone owners, freelancers, magazine owners, etc. All na entrepreneurs or business people.

Like Rick Ross say, "a boss is the one that guarantee we gonn eat". To me a boss in business is the organizer of a project in action. If you hire somebody to bring their skill and come help you, while you pay them and manage their skills and time, during the timeline both of you agreed, then you are a boss. Like in building a structure, the boss there is the contractor. The owner of the building is the investor to the contractor. A boss is suppose to know about the business and not just be an investor who don't really need to know about the project but the result of the project. An investor is also an entrepreneur. Facebook and others had investors but those investors are not operating the business. Am not talking of manager, who is the organizer of a task or more. In building a structure, the mason have their own manager, the electricians have their own manager, who the contractor should be supervising in an organized project.

They sure never told us it will be this difficult... That folks will ignore our calls fearing we are up to ask for more credits and bailouts... They never told us about the persistent headache while always trying to think it through.

They never told us that our life will change before we balance. That our priorities will change, that a lot of things Wil change...that uneseay lies in the roads ahead.... That being called a CEO comes with its challenges... They never told us.

I spite of all the difficulties, I won't look back.

"That folks will ignore our calls fearing we are up to ask for more credits and bailouts.."

I have learnt forex and I am telling you from my personal experience.

Just because you didn't make it Forex dosent mean another person won't.

I am a Pro Forex trader and if I tell you how much I earn monthly in the Forex market, you would be shocked.

It didn't start on a good note though. It was tough and stressful but when I finally got the hang of it, it became second nature. Lockdown or no lockdown I am cashing out.

So stop discouraging others. At least let him try

Just as a apprentice carpenter learns before doing any carpentry works

It is good to learn forex from somebody with a record of success

Check out the link below to learn about forex

And before the SHARKS and VULTURES would come to trumpet SKAAM

YES it is an affiliate link

I would get commission when you buy but it is better than jumping into it without learning about the industry

One of the most motivational posts I have read on Nairaland in years...it shows me I am not the only one going through all these things, and that is pure motivation to keep going.

Sometimes when I'm down and depressed, I just remember the picture of Linda Ikeji at a party when she was like 25. She was super skinny and looked like a suffering refugee. And then the story she said of how she had only 700 naira in her bank account on her 30th birthday. And after like ten years of grinding and suffering, she became a millionaire at 31. And she has achieved more and more success over the years. Her story is one of the most motivational stories of a Nigerian entrepreneur ever written.

The only part they told us about entrepreneurship was that we would be our own bosses.

They never told us that we would fail many times before we succeed.
They never told us that we would work 5 times more than our employees and not get anything sometimes.

They never told us that this would cripple our credit score. That we will be in debt and owe a lot of people money.
No one said anything about the sleepless nights trying to figure out a way forward.
No one told us about the stress and anxiety.

No one told us that this will cause conflict between us and or relatives and family members.
No one told us that we would be jokes to the society especially when we start changing from one business to another.

No one told us that sometimes we will go six months or more without any income. Living in the edge and surviving through borrowing money from different people.

No one told us that our doors would be shut down due failure to pay staff, they can’t get to work.

No one told us we would be hobos at some point.
No one told us that our wife's /husbands /boyfriends and girlfriend's would leave us because they will not understand our journey.

No one told us that we will have to be more than patient.
That we would make so many mistakes end up losing a lot of money.
That at some point we would have to risk our lives in order to move forward.

We had to figure this out all by ourselves.
Many gave up on the journey.
Some died on the journey.

But some of us after going through so much pain we decided that we were going to succeed or die trying .
Some of us we are never giving up on this no matter what. We are now doing it and very aware of the circumstances.
It's win or nothing for us and it's too late to go back now.

We are entrepreneurs!!

Only you were trying to completely Push him away from Forex due to personal experience

If you had said "don't put all your mind there" or something like that then I would have subscribed to that cos I know very well that many people fail down the road but your response was such that it would discourage him massively not to even try

They say it's better to have tried and failed than not to have tried at All so I believe everyone deserves a fair chance at it. Including him

Raised 400$ to 3k$ in 4 months had to withdraw everything due to coro effect ... Since then, the strategy stopped working. Still trying to find out what went wrong. Took me about 3yrs to figure the Strategy myself, surely the same spirit will still figure another one and a permanent one. I am working towards that, just like what op wrote, the make genuine money no dey easy and failure is a blessing in disguise.

I am not doubting the financial potentials of Forex trading.

I said it is not worth dedicating one's entire life to it because Forex trading does not gurantee success nor peace.

You can acquire a lot of profit in Forex trading but can also incure lots of loses. Check successful Forex traders statistics online for more info.

Many people think when you go Forex, you become succesful...It is not always the case. Sometimes you can go Forex and end up broke.

Am an enterprenuer but I didn't pass through all these shit you mentioned. It was difficult starting but I blazed through. Now these are the rules

1) never start a business without a proper knowledge of the business

2) Never start a business without adequate financial management skill

3) Never start a new business without the mindset to be frugal in your spending at least for the first one year

4) the last but the most important is never start a business without a spiritual backup else the elements might just frustrate you

All these I can expanciate but I'm too lazy to type

Please expanciate on the bolded.
