Very on point. I have a friend who opened a business, after months of no result, she became vulnerable and started losing it. But I told her the business will survive the test of time if she will become patient. We're still here ticking the time till it becomes her dream come through. 5 Likes |

Insightful!! This post is timely. Failure is one thing an entrepreneur most become accustomed with. Failure is a better teacher than success. I have failed severally and may continue to fail. However, I am determined to make the most of myself. I have come too far in life to give up! Nigeria seem to be one of the worst countries to become an entrepreneur. The whole system is orchestrated to frustrate you. Gosh! This write up explicitly captures the travails of an entrepreneur. 6 Likes |

A journey of a thousand miles begins with only a step. That business idea you've got why not give it a try this year and see how it blossoms. Becoming an entrepreneur is worthwhile...more especially in this Period of Job scarcity. 4 Likes |

nenyewrites: A man might be failing in life until he goes to do rituals, during the process the priest tells him the rules to keep for the ritual to be effective. As long as he lives in those rules he will begin to prosper. He doesn't have to work harder or to change business, from the one he's already doing he grows and multiplies to the amazement of others. This is to tell you there is a spiritual dimension to life, there are forces that controls things- negative and positive forces. God is the origin of all powers, just as devil demands sacrifice from you, rules and regulations for you to keep for him to prosper you so does God. The problem most people have when they relate with God is to take him casual, never keeping to his rules on prosperity. God is a deity, failure to keep to the rules brings about failure in business success. Some of the rules are: 1) God will be sorted and he has to approve the business. It will have to be a godly business started with Clean money if you want God to back it 2) you will have to enter covenant with God on your money. What you must give him as long as the business lives, without it he'd not have a legal ground to withstand forces on your behalf. 10percent of your profit at least with absolute consistency else you spoil the charm. The money you shouldn't give it casually but with the heart that your giving your sacrifice to a deity. Also you must not eat alone, a certain portion of your money will have to benefit others 3) you must never confess negatively or say anything bad concerning your business. Even when others are complaining you must not, even when you feel your not making progress you must not be tempted to say negatively rather you must declare your increase as often as you can 4) the last but the most important is... there's a spirit that brings money. That is, there's a spirit that possesses you and you can never go broke ever in life. In God, the spirit that brings money is living under divine influence- the presence of God. I don't want to go into details but there is a relationship between staying in the presence of God and money. The longer you can stay and ascend the more your quality of life improves not just money. Now if you don't have this presence you will have to find an anointed man that you must pay homage at intervals for him to declare the blessings of God over you as long as you remain in business. Life is all about laws and effect, do these and no devil will ever have a legal ground to stop you. What I'm saying to you is not head knowledge but an experience 7 Likes 2 Shares |

OGWILLS123: Yes, diversify and concentrate more on what you have passion for. Those making money from forex don't have the time to begin to convince you to learn forexx. If you wan learn forex, figure out a strategy for yourself, make sure you do demo for at least one yr before you invest your real money. Dont ever invest more than 200$...the secret is 200$ goes for 0.01 lot and if you cannot grow 200$ to 2k$ then you are not getting it. |

Nice write-up op, very encouraging post! I must say this post is a motivation for me! I just had an experience which almost made me fall into depression. I'm a student in my finals (500 level). Just recently, last year to be precise, i conceived a business idea during the lockdown, while i was still in the state where i school. I decided to set this business idea into motion in June when the lock down was about to be lifted, in fact because of the desire to start something, and put an end to idleness i travelled down to Lagos during the lockdown, fortunately the lockdown was lifted a few days later. Immediately i got to Lagos , i started the business, mini importation to be precise - as little income could be used to set it up. I bought a few goods, things i knew would move in the market- phone accessories, water purifier, hair products and a few others. I took them to the organisation where i did my student industrial work experience scheme because of the relationship i have built, while i displayed them on my WhatsApp status at the same time. Surprisingly, after several visit to this organisation and other places, couple with the advert i did on WhatsApp i sold virtually all the goods!!i was very happy, i made profit that made me decide to reinvest both the profit and the and capital in the business. Now, that's the darkest point in my business career!! How? With that burning desire and passion derived from my first business experience, i decided to make another attempt! I listed out a number of goods i felt would move , i included some of the things I bought the first time and i ordered them immediately. A few days later, i was called that my goods have arrived and i went to the shipping company for pickup. Now i observed the carton used in packaging my goods was a bit rough, and it appeared the sealing tape has been tampered with, but i immediately discarded that thought with the belief that such was normal since it wasn't just my package that was kept in the warehouse. Also i have not been given any reason to believe any foul play, at least judging from my first dealing with them. Well to cut the long story short, by the time I got home to open the carton some of my goods were missing, these are things i couldn't have noticed their disappearance because they are not big in size , although they are quite expensive. I called the agent who helped me procure the goods immediately, she was as surprise as i was, complaints were lodged to the shipping company and till date nothing positive has come out of it. I was so discouraged, couple with the fact that the things I bought - clock Wallpaper, water purifier, earbud, women hand bag... Did not sell As expected. People that earlier ordered for these items, which prompted the inclusion of the items in my list later said there was no cash when the goods arrived. It is only when goods are selling in the market that one will be motivated to hawk, but after a long try and the result remains negative, one may be forced to quit. I wouldn't say i have quit , but i was negatively affected by those experiences. Right now, feeding and some other expenses have eaten deep into the money I have, since there's no consistency. I'm only left with just a few of the goods, i have tried to sell them at least before returning to school, but we all know how things are outside there, there is no sale as such. Yes my mistakes are..(1). I didn't plan the second business attempt very well, i miscalculated. (2) i allowed setback (missing goods) to discourage me- the goods i lost weakened my morale, it also weakened me financially. But what could I have done? i am a newcomer!! If only I could sell the few items I have and get a little financial assistance, I will retrace my steps. life is indeed not easy for newbies entrepreneurs, especially those who lack financial Assistance. 4 Likes |
