Points noted. But if the virus becomes uncontrollable, we will still be force to shut down and everything you listed above will still take place. But by then, thousands of lives would have gone with it.

Remember, the reason for the low fatality is still majorly because our health facilities is still controlling this virus. By the time the cases becomes uncontrollable, it's only the rich that will be treated. You and I that don't want to die of hunger will probably be the one fighting for oxygen to breathe.

Two options. Hunger or Oxygen
which health facility is controlling the virus, it is clear now that u don't know what you are saying, if the virus goes as it is been described, then we are all exposed, probably how immunity is doing the magic, so locking down is a waste of time.

You specifically mentioned 'health facilities'. Bring it up in your argument. No one cares when Nigeria shut down airports or the likes. The virus still got in and spread. You can't say our health facilities are the reason why there's low death rate. That's grossly inaccurate

My point is still flying over your head. Let me break it down.

The Covid-19 majorly affect the respiratory system and the cases that leads majorly to hospitalisation is when the infected can't breathe on their own.

These are my questions to you. If you can't breathe by yourself, won't you need ventilator to assist you?

Where can Ventilator be found? In your house or hospital?

If it is hospital, when there are more cases than ventilators, what will happen?

If you can't breathe on your own or have no access to ventilator, will you live or die?

If the cases become more than the ventilator, won't they start doing ration?

When they start doing ration, do you think we that are poor as church rat will be on the ration list?

Power in Nigeria does not emanate from the people. It's a slogan the govt uses to paint themselves as "serving the people". Where do you exercise the so called power you mentioned? Elections Lmao. I'd have you know we have some supreme court governors in naija. All politicians do is cherry pick. Your vote doesn't count, it NEVER does!

If I take your blood sample for a test, there's a 75% chance I'd see COVID-19 antibodies. Oh yes, you most likely have been exposed to the virus, as have millions others. How many people that you know, or that knows someone that knows someone is in the hospital, needing ventilators? Stop fooling yourself. Most ventilators in hospitals are useless as we speak, I work in one, so I can say so authoritatively. We have many other illnesses to worry about in Nigeria, and thankfully, COVID-19 is NOT one of them. Let the economy thrive. We'd be fine

Come lemme test you. That's about as scientific as I can go. But seriously, with how lax everyone is, including the govt about this virus, you honestly believe you've not been exposed? Lmao. Just say you don't believe the virus is real

Oga, Nigerians are not a silent group of people abeg. If one house experience strange deaths from COVID-19 related symptoms and another house same, people would raise alarm. They'll come to social media, especially twitter to tell the world about how their governor (Yahala Bello) wants to kill them by downplaying the virus. Nothing of such is happening. I have so many friends in Kogi. Everyone of them says what that guy said. No mysterious deaths in Kogi state. Everything is going on well there. If there is anyone myopic here, it's you boss
So u mean coronavirus does not exist in Nigeria

I never said that. In fact, I believe virtually every Nigerian has had the virus, if the means of spread and rate of contraction is anything to go by. I think we have our immune systems to thank for the low rate of mortality

let me take you back to the first lockdown, it was declared but not enforced because you simply cant lock down people from going about looking for daliy bread. the people simply stayed put at home but operated in the evenings and night. you banned intrastate travel, but we all travelled, the enforcers simply collected 1k per vehicle then, so why are we deceiving ourselves with another lockdown? if you declare it, no one will obey not after the discovery of the looted palliatives back in October.
we simply have to find a way of living with the virus till it leaves finally.
