After waiting for quite sometime, finally got a request. Rider called and requested I give her 15 minutes. Wouldnt have thought twice about cancelling when things were good.

A part of me wants to just wait as everywhere dry but something keeps telling me she may end up cancelling it and I would have missed another trip while waiting for her.

What would you do?
Please where is my pop corn

Good afternoon everyone.

Please I want to go on the Uber/Bolt platforms and I have someone that has a Corolla that will be ready in maximum of 2 weeks time.

The issue is that I don't have a driver's license yet. I've never obtained a driver's license even though I've driven personal car in Lagos for 3 years now.

Does anybody know a legitimate way to fast track the process because someone told me it takes a minimum of 30 days before I can get a temporary driver's license. Please help my chiefs!

I don't know if times have changed but back then, I got my temporary same day I went. Was through the backdoor though so I paid more.

When you get to the licensing office, you'll see a lot of them trying go hustle you. Use your discretion to pick any of them and be careful.

Ma rating has dropped to 4.2
Will i be blocked??

I didn't have issue with any rider

Or am i suppose to ask for rating?

I just started as new driver 3 days ago

Cc house
Any tips

My activity is 90
While rating 4.2
My man no need to panick, it's normal as you just started driving and have completed a couple of trips.
Just keep driving it will come up, rating works with percentage of trips you have completed.
But then try to be nice to your riders yet professional, be balanced.

I picked these 2 girls at Cadogan Estate on Sunday. The trip was ordered for them by the person they came visiting. I guess the man left them in his apartment before stepping out. Na so dem pack his drinks o. About 4 bottles of wine. The trip was on card. Na so they wan go everywhere. Las las we had about 4 stops before the final destination.

I was with another trip to Ikeja when I sighted the drinks in the car. Sharp guy that I be, I called the man immediately instead of them. The man was livid. He asked how many bottles and pleaded that I should call him whenever I'm around the place.
Hours later one of the ladies called me. I let her know I already called the man. She pleaded with me too to call her anytime I'm around her place instead of the man.

She has called me twice after then. I told her to make an arrangement for delivery as I work only on the mainland. But she appears reluctant.

What do you guys think?

You called the man for a reason... for what it is, the man is your client not the ladies.

You know what to do, do it.

For me i think d ladies are your client not the man cos truthfully it’s the ladies u carried not the man. Since u have already called the man u just have to return it to d man. But i feel why u called the man first was maybe u heard the ladies discussing about the loot and you were not ok with it.

Please, I use this medium to call on those that paid for the Meet and Greet to send their details for refund.

Thanks

Why do riders tell you to start the ride while waiting for them when they sense they'll delay you like they're doing you a favour.

What difference does it make? Is it still not the same N10 per minute?

At least, If I don't start the ride, I can cancel after five minutes but once you start, you have to wait till she comes out.

u must be a marlian grin to drive personal car for 3 years without a license

It actually happens bro. I got my first Driving License when I wanted to sign up with Uber. If not, I probably would have still been driving without one. Had to pay for over six years Vehicle Licence as well before I signed up with uber.

It was only once at Oniru that some police men held me, no car document was complete. Eventually, I tipped them 1k and left. It's risky. I pulled that off probably because there are not so many check points on the Island.

The person that entered your car with the drinks, is the owner.
How they got it and where they got it isn't your concern.

But you've involved your actual client who can now report you and possibly get you banned.

Take it to your client.

I don't think there is a need for that. We should just have a vote on this. For those that will be available with your money on the d day, just quote this post. If we have a quorum of 10 people, we can still meet. Na my thought o.

I know. But ban? Nah. I'm not sharing it cos of fear of being banned. Just asking for our opinion about who to return it to. Once the rider's initiator shows sign of seriousness, I will take it back to him.

Welcome to the Ochidoma's compound

This is poke nosing cheesy you can't b 100% certain the drinks belong to the man and if it belongs to him, whatever happens btw them is honestly not the 3rd party problem... Nah the man know where he waka go see hungry lioness, don't pit him, let him learn.

As much as it is the man that booked the ride and in the court of e hailing, he's the only one that can lay claim to whatever got lost due to his number, but since its the ladies that brought the drinks along with them, they can ask well pass as the owner and if they are willing to pay for the discomfort, boss pls give them their drinks. The man should go and deal with them, if something bigger have lost inbtw and it lead to matter of authority, I'm sure you won't like to b caught inbtw or stand as witness that truly they took his 10, 000 pounds.
