So I was refused based on this reason
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
What can I do to address it apart from personal bank statement or assets..what other options do I have

On my IRCC portal page, the status is changing from “Application updated” to “Submitted” intermittently. Is anyone else experiencing this?

You're right, even with the new mybankstatement method, they now use ticket ID and password to check your account details online...they're also evolving.. just be careful, any money you want to put there, let it stay till when u get response from them, apply ONLY when you're FULLY Ready...

I asked my bank to generate the mybankstatement for a period and you can see I was charged accordingly (14pages). Are you saying an updated statement will be provided by ones bank beyond the period it was generated for?

Hello everyone!!!

Please I need some clarifications on the following issues:

1. I graduated with a 2:2 public administration, (bsc) can a pgd in human resources management or project management go with my university degree, which of them is better

2. Am planning to move with my family ( hubby and son) we have a landed property in Nigeria and am planning to start up a company in the country where I reside, and also we are permanent residents here. I want to use them as home ties, is it enough

3. The intention is to get PR after the study, if I start the pgd by 2022, and there's a new government by 2023, will it affect the international graduate PR route, because I wouldn't have been through by then.

4. I will be using my Naira statement of account to apply for nse hope it won't be a problem.

These are my concerns, please kindly clarify me, thanks

1) a PG. Cert in HRM goes well with your Public Administration University degree

4) No it won't be a problem, but compulsorily it has to be the MybankStatement Ticket from your bank not the regular Statement of Account you get from your bank that needs you to scan your 4-6 months transaction page by page.

Do await a response to your other questions (2 & 3)

Babcock alumnus right?

Try UBC, McGill... McGill tuition for 2 years is about $50k CAD for the Information Studies program cool. There are lots of schools in Canada that offers Information Studies programs. But your acceptance is determined by your CGPA and work experience. Information Studies and Library Science programs are competitive to get admits because most of their citizens and Americans are pursuing admission into such departments.

Guys based on the new time for processing (15 weeks), my application would be 15 weeks on Monday. What do you advise I start to send to IRCC and from when should I start cause I have started classes already and I need to ravel. The time difference is killing. Also, my account says eligibility under review and background check is on but no date on when it started but I noticed i started seeing eligibility under review since 1st week in december 2020.

Awys, Otunbatee, frankrobbin and other gurus, Please I need your advise.

Oh I see but getting NSE request doesn't guarantee approval anyways some people didn't get but we're approved while some even got but still refused so IRCC have their ways only them understand their matter they still check other things whether NSE request or not

Sure I'm not disagreeing with you I just meant so far the people I saw that got the medical after passport request were those that got NSE request .I did not see anyone that say they got medicals after ppr yet or maybe I skipped the post or they didn't come out to talk .Probably

Sorry I don't reply DMs for now, but kindly ask all questions here and they will be attended to as fast as possible.
To have an idea on how to start kindly read the first page of this part and you will see the list of documents to submit and also links on very important steps to take. Also compare the information with that of www.cic.gc.ca just to be sure you are doing the right thing.
For admission, check all schools offering your intended course and their requirements to see which fits you ( financially and otherwise).
GOOD LUCK
I googled2 schools that offer masters in finance - McMaster university and university of Saskatchewan. They require gmat/gre, ielts, toefl. I asked someone and he said I should just write only ielts . I’m confused

Are you going for post graduate program? Most schools exempt Nigerians from taking IELTS or any other English exams since Nigeria is an English speaking country and the language of instruction for schools in Nigeria is English language. I haven't checked McMasters if they exempt Nigerians, but I am sure Saskatchewan does. Read the pages well and you will get the information you seek

I just want to point out that for those planning to go to schools in Quebec, their PR process is different from the rest of Canada and can get a bit more complicated than English-speaking provinces. Primarily due to French Language requirements and other different steps in their process.

Something to bear in mind as you start your study journey.

Hello Everyone, I landed in Winnipeg yesterday. Flight was long but smooth. My POE was Toronto, I was only asked to show my Passport, admission letter, ArriveCAN and Covid test result, then my Study permit was printed. For those coming to Winnipeg soon, it’s really cold here, please dress prepared for the weather. I just want to thank everyone on this platform. It has finally ended in praise!!

Thank God for leading you safely.

I dey your back. Let me get myself some winter jackets grin

Good day to everyone in the house and special greetings to those contributing highly to see others successfully getting their TRV. I am learning a lot after my first refusal...I’m a silent reader on this platform. I was refused Study Permit in September 2020 due to purpose of visit and financial reasons. I already got my gcms note.

I want reapply, my questions is,

1. Is it now mandatory we all have to write IELTS?

2. Is mandatory we all go through the NSE route?

I asked because I haven’t written IELTS before and with the nature of my job it’ll be hard to write it now..And I will appreciate a lot if someone can help me review my LOE/SOP to see if I tackled all necessary issues highlighted from my previous refusal..Thanks!!
