Yes, I'd never do that in FX as it is not a commodity but a pair. The risk depends on capital allocation. I averaged down to $34.5k for 25% of capital which in all likelihood will be profitable given the dynamics of its price. The plan to average in another 15% at $28k is still trading. That is where the trading ends and attempts to buy the dip end.

If it's a bear crash, I will be absolutely more than happy to become a long term investor at $10k and $20k price for which I can deploy my remaining 60%. That's why I will only do this for BTC because I don't want to be a holder of large amounts of Altcoin in the event of a crash.
