My Experience At NIMC Centre by scholes23(m): 5:11pm On Jan 20, 2021
I left my house this morning at 8am to the nearest NIMC centre located in Gbagada and here's what I experienced today

Arrival
When I arrived, I saw a lot of people (normal thing) and I asked someone how it's done and he told me that the first thing is to write my name and phone number after which I'll buy a form for 100 naira, fill and submit.

Writing Of Name
It took us about 10 minutes to tell the officials to give us the list so we can write our names (for the benefit of those who just arrived). There I was told the essence of writing our names and phone numbers is for them to contact us on when to come for registration. Though I had my doubts about this but I just had to do as others were doing.

My Observations
After buying my form, I stayed with other people and while we were expressing our disgust at this whole registration ish, a man who's also a staff told us to pay 5k and it will be done and that's what he was doing all through. Looking for customer. Someone even came and settled them 100k just to register 6 people. And I was like WTF!!! Now the stakes have gone higher. A man told me that he came two weeks ago wrote his name and phone number yet they didn't call him till now. I also met people who submitted their forms earlier and yet no luck cos people have used money to stop them from doing the right thing . Now I'm like this Is total rubbish. What's the point when we know that from now to the newly extended deadline, we won't achieve anything. Many people even left frustrated cos they left their various place of work only for them to achieve nothing

I just made up my mind and left that place. If they like, let them block my line. I won't die. Las Las I'll be fine.

There should be a way to bring this fraud to government notice.
